Sure, why not - the more, the merrier.

The draft usually supplements the enlisted troops, and there will be any number of volunteers who will be first to go on the line; drafted people will mostly be in offices or doing support-type activities (food service, vehicle maintenance, inventory control).

Also, they wouldn’t draft both the mom AND the dad (would they?). Somebody would stay home; otherwise, you’re effectively drafting grandma.

If the pool is larger, men and women will be able to stay home. The military (like all institutions) need overhauling to end abuse of people but there won’t be ghost towns in case of drafts. It’s more likely that young men and women would occupy the front line and the home front.

Yes women should be eligible for selective service. As I believe American women are just a capable as men, if not more in high stress situations.

Hey yall! Firstly about the draft: I think it should be voluntary for all but it can't be mandatory for women and men because then who's staying in the states? As a women, I know the army is super dangerous for us as we're more likely to be raped and abused by fellow soldiers. It might seem misogynist but I'd rather stay home and work for my grandma and nieces than end up raped and murdered at Fort Bragg.

My other comment is about doctors and fat people. There's a ton of psych research on how doctors mistreat bigger patients. Cases range from not listening to concerns to literal abuse. (I made a little youtube video about it)
