Werner, Old Sport, multi-party political systems will never work. that's like having nine managers on a baseball team, one for each player on the field! Absurd.

Mexico needs a strong, honest leader, not the dancing figurehead of so many special interests as to be ridiculous. AMLO has not lifted a finger against the drug cartels. That, in itself, is a failure of astral proportions!

Do not praise Mexican politics, Wern. Not yet, buddy, not yet...

I liked the outcome of the midterm elections, the people's President continues to be well represented through alliances (that's how multiparty systems work best).
The people at the lower economic end are well served by this President and Morena plus his coalition.
Great election all on a Sunday no loss of work and no mail-in voting mess, all with the official VOTIING ID,
I say great job Mexxico that's how it should work everywhere.

Those of you retirees in Mexico who fear Bitcoin will not be happy with this news from the USA -

"Fed explores ‘once in a century’ bid to remake the U.S. dollar

The rise of private cryptocurrencies motivated the Fed to start considering a digital dollar to be used alongside the traditional paper currency.

Word has it social security payments will soon be made in cryptocurrency, so bone up on what it means!

Brad Boner says what we all wish we could say so easily. I second his sentiments.

Hey, Wicked818, you ignorant slut, what do you know about USA politics? And why do you come here to spout your gutless tripe? Are you lost or just stupid? I say you're stupid. Read the poll question 10 more times, you dickless bastard and then try again. Pendejos like you are a dime a dozen these days. Don't need them; don't tolerate them.

Trump lost. DeSantis is a loser, too.

Go back under Yo Mama's naguas, you dirtied-ass MOFO!

  • Wicked818 - 3 years ago

Here we are 6 months into the year and people are still talking about TRUMP!!! Let it go you socialist liberals!!! Especially the ones that live aboard. Just so know there’s a new Sheriff in town and he’s called Ron DeSantis!!! LMAO ????!!! De qué sé murieron los quemados???

Rightwing rep**plicans put the orange narcissist in power who turned the United States upside down. I have been a grateful US American for over 40 years, now I'm done. Will I vote in México? In time, I might apply for citizenship, although I don't have half a lifetime to live anymore. Time will tell. Patriotism? Well, I have seen where it got the USA.

Expats have no business in Mexican politics. Support anyone? That's sticking your nose where it does not belong. Stick to defending the Republican or Democrat parties in the USA.

There is a distinct and definite line Americans living in Mexico should never cross, and local politics is at the top of the list. Go back home if you're itching for political scraps. Lord knows the USA is a shithole in that respect these days.

    Sheeeesh.

All Morrena leaders were PRI supporters in the past and it is very hard for me to believe that simply because they moved from PRI to Morena they are no longer corrupt. To Rude Calderon´s comment I say: Workers were "controlled" by Union Leaders and they continue to be. I do not think they were "fed up" with PRI corruption. They changed Logo but not the system.

  • David Jean - 3 years ago

If you support PRI read the story on Sandoval of Nayarit. Wild.

  • Rude Calderon - 3 years ago

Many working-class MORENA voters were previously PRI voters for generations until they got fed up with being used to feed the monstrous corrupt machine that ruled for many decades...
