Mayim has been like a breath of fresh air. Smart, witty and personable, she manages to move the game along at a good pace.
Before her hosting gig, my favorite had been Mike Richards - with honorable mention to Buzzy..
Mayim definitely is well-suited to be the permanent host and would be enjoyable to watch on a regular basis. It would be great to see an intelligent, confident woman as the host.
And please DON'T give it to Ken. I respect him immensely as a player, and he does well on The Chase, but on Jeopardy he comes off as unapproachable and somewhat arrogant. And definitely does not have the knack for humor that Mayim has.
Never in a million…she was too into herself…constantly back to her…and she dresses like a grandma…
So far for me it’s Mike Richards, Mayim Bialik and Bill Whitaker. If one of those three gets it I’ll be happy.
Mayim is doing a great job. Wonderful voice, articulate , personable , intelligent, & she has the pacing & delivery most reminiscent of Alex. Keeps things moving & interesting. Other hosts have made me nostalgic for Alex but she fills the void. Definitely has my vote.
Richards and Mayim are the best so far.
Mayim is strong contender for Jeopardy host.She is a perfect combination of real & erudite. She has the timing to move the game along yet still can relate comfortably to the contestants .She has enthusiasm and a lively pleasant personality.
The only caveat: she pronounces a hard middle "g" in
words like "singing". Easy to correct because all else fits the bill .
I hope Mayhim is the permanent host..keeps the game going smoothly..has a sense of humour is very clever. Hands down my favourite so far!
Of the guest hosts thus far, Mayim has been the biggest and most pleasant surprise! Notice how so many of the negative comments about her come from men, who are most likely intimidated by an intelligent, competent woman. Buzzy would be my 2nd choice. Waiting to see how Levar Burton does before casting my final vote.
Mayim is amazing! She definitely is one smart lady. Presents her self well with her wardrobe choices and relates well with the contestants. Reall enjoy watching her host.
The constant laughter at almost every clue is grating and weird. I am ready for her to be done.
Mayim has been a pleasant surprise but my favorite so far is Buzzy Cohen! I am also looking forward to LeVar Burton. Aaron Rodgers is a favorite too mostly because he grew up in a neighboring town and is a fave local boy. His demeanor was very quiet and a bit too laid back.

I also enjoyed Buzzy Cohen tremendously as well as Mike Richards . I have watched Jeopardy from the very beginning with Art Fleming thru the one of a kind Alex Trebek . She is second to none , & would be the absolute finest and wisest choice to host jeopardy permanently
I have two favorites so far - Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik. Jennings is straightforward, yet has a quirky, gentle sense of humor as did Alex Tribec. And, he can relate well with the contestants because he has been in their place. I never thought I'd like to see a woman in the role of Alex Trebec, but Bialik has me pleasantly surprised. She presents as a knowledgeable, mature woman with nothing to prove, yet she has a soft, bubbly nature which puts contestants at ease. I think Mayim Bialik will most likely turn out to be my first choice followed closely by Ken Jennings.
However, there are other guest hosts to sit through and consider. We'll see!!
Rebecca Brady: Mayim Bialik is a Neuroscientist (in the field of neuroscience), not a Neurobiologist.
Neuroscientist looks at anything to do with the nervous system while Neurobiologist looks at the biology of the nervous system.

She would be the best option to take the place of Mr. Alex Trebeck. He was a great man and did alot of wonderful things and she will also!!
Ms Blalik , or perhaps the staff, should be more careful about restating the answers contestants give to render them correct. For instance I don’t think Alex Trebek would have accepted “dyes” instead of “food coloring”. She corrected the answer and judged it correct. It’s not the only time she’s done it.
I must correct myself. I meant neuro biologist. Not sure why it wasn't accepted as one word. Was not going for microbiologist at all!!!
Since Mayim is a professional microbiologist(like her character, Amy, on BBT), she is definitely a good candidate for the job. I have a few favorites, so, it's tough to decide!! My least favorite were Katie Couric and Dr. Oz. There are still a few more guest hosts to watch, so, I will cast my vote after I see them perform as guest host.
Mayim is the best choice. She exudes positivity, intelligence, and joy.
I have enjoyed Aaron, Buzzy and Mike the most. Because no one can truly replace Alex, I would be open to guest hosts for two weeks on a permanent basis.
I think that anyone who's a neuroscientist is ok. Maybe update her wardrobe.her demeanor is fine.
I think Mayim is the best! She is smart and joyous! No one else has had that quality when hosting. She loves the game and it shows! And I love the idea of America seeing a smart woman at the helm. Alex would be proud!
She has been very good and does not wait a long time to respond whether or not an answer is correct. I think she would be great, but I want to wait until all guest hosts have their chance.

The old saying goes if you can’t say anything nice don’t say it at all. So I’ll try and be nice and simply say, that if Ken Jennings gets the job then Jeopardy died along with Alex Trebek.
Mayim Bialek makes Jeopardy fun because she's so full of joy with the game. It's also fantastic to have a smart, funny woman hosting a show that's almost unique in expecting contestants to be smart. No previous host--including Alex Trebek, as wonderful as he was--has had that academic credibility. It would be a shame not to have a host who can be a role model to both girls and boys and who can make being intelligent attractive and accessible.
She's awful.Dr Oz has the bottom place secured, but she's a close second. Ken Jennings is the obvious choice as host.
Speaking of “pompous asses”, one possibility that would turn me ooff from watching is Kent Jennings.
Mayim Bialik is a bit forced, cold, and snobbish,and she comes across as indifferent to the contestants’ personal
stories. The program needs someone who has a quick wit in order to break the ice with humorous comments during the contestant interviews, as Trebek had.
So far, I haven’t seen ANY guest host who has displayed that indispensable ability. They have all been too serious throughout the whole game.
But, hey, WHERE is “Jeopardy James”? I guess he didn’t want to be considered, because, otherwise, I would surely think he would be a guest host.

She is the best host of Jeopardy so far since Alex.. I have watched this show since its inception. I won our school Jeopardy contest as a Freshman in 1972 and became a Judge then host for 3 more years. You actually need ad hoc command of facts and engaging personality for the audience and contestants. We have found our host here.
She's like chalk on a blackboard, her fake, animated personality is exhausting, she's too loud, talks about herself way too much, adds unnecessary comments throughout the entire show, isn't as smart as she pretends to be, and I agree with several of the other writers, I would never watch if she lands the job.
Mayim Bialik has done a fantastic job, in my opinion. The contestants seem very relaxed with her. She is knowledgeable, articulate, and very gracious. She would make a wonderful host. There is no one who can compare to Alex, but Mayim would do a great job, making the position her own. I enjoy that we occasionally learn a little about her during the segments; Alex used to do the same, and it made him more interesting.
A nice lady, but if she becomes the permanent host I'll probably stop watching Jeopardy. Her voice is not pleasant.
Mayim is just a pleasure to listen to. She is a true jeopardy believer She has that something special and great academic credentials

Of all the guest hosts, Mayim is by far the BEST! She is very personable and intelligent. She also has a great sense of humor. It’s apparent that she truly enjoys hosting Jeopardy. She definitely has my vote!
My wife and I are both enjoying Mayim! We enjoy her positive energy, and she makes watching fun again! We all miss Alex, but I truly believe he would be thrilled to have Mayim take the reins!
Mayim is the best so far. She is professional, intelligent, friendly, and a very strong women. Mayim's interaction with the contestants is great. They look relaxed with her as host. She is a wonderful educated woman that would be an inspiration to girls around the world.
I think Aaron Rogers was the worst host by far. Voice is irritating, he has no personally, has no inter reaction with the contestants. I hope you are interview the contestants after the show to get their feel.
I think she's a pompous ass and will stop watching the show if she's chosen permanent host!!!
Mayim is a joy to watch every night. She’s such a natural and so witty. Love her voice and I personally would love her taking over the full time host position on Jeopardy. If she doesn’t get hired then give it to Ken Jennings.

She is the worst host so far. What is with the constant laughing? You can even see that contestants are looking annoyed with it. Not to mention all the weird edits (evidence of her not doing such a great job). And after those edits her demeanor is different, like she knows she messed up. Mayim is great. No need for more guest hosts. Choose her and let’s go! (And PLEASE don’t pick that full-of-himself Aaron Rodgers. He may be “smart” when he’s inside the NFL bubble—but not the brightest bulb when he gets into the real world.)
Aaron Rodgers became very comfortable and natural and we had the most “fun” watching when he was on... he added something extra that is hard to put into words but none of the others had it, even tho some were also very good. He’d be a clear first choice! Our second choice would be Ken Jennings and third, Mayim Bialik.
This guesthost is a joy to watch and hear. I am a 75 year old person who has enjoyed Alex for years and she comes close to him. The only one who comes close is Mike Richards! Thank you for the opportunity to express my opinion.
I've watched all the guest host so far and Mayim is definitely the best. She is a joy to watch and seems very comfortable as Host. I think her personality, demeanor and background is well suited for the position of Host of Jeopardy. I certainly hope Mayim will be selected for the job.

Any man who host gets a huge comparison to Alex. With her she will be so different that she will be accepted better than any man will be
I find her too full of herself, always finding a way to let us know what she’s done. Her accomplishments belong on her press release, not on the show. The stars of the half hour are the contestants. Put it this way, if I were at a gathering with her I’d go in the other direction.
Love watching her host the show! The. Contestants seem a lot more relaxed and like they are actually enjoying themselves.
Please give her the job!
To be truthful I'm not a big fan of any of the rest of the people you have lined up to host, but I love the show and will watch anyway.

Prior to Mayim I would have been all in for Ken Jennings but after seeing and hearing her, I’m sold on her 100%. She has the voice, the presence, the knowledge, the humorous nature and the playfulness that mirror Alex so very greatly! There are still others in the running that have a strong possibllty of being there.

Mayim Bialik Is by far the best ….she easily sails past other guest hosts - is so bright and knowledgeable. She has a pleasant sense of humor - She seems to be a natural for the job. Her voice and enunciation is also perfect for broadcasting. The search should end here. She has my vote.

I really enjoyed Aaron Rodgers when he hosted and was hoping that he would get the gig but Mayim Bialik has been outstanding! Extremely smart and very comfortable in the job. You can tell that she loves it and would be a perfect fit!
