Fife Councils rules are ridiculous. I have a trailer but it is bigger than the max size for going to the local recycling centre . so I can't take a settee nor the tree branches or the tumble drier I have been keeping for over a year in the garage as they don't fit the car. No wonder people fly tip.
We are told that covid does not transmit easily in the open air so users are at no greater risk of infection than they are walking around the streets. Risks for staff are even less as they are normally hiding in their office. As for recycling what a joke. I was told to put sheet glass in the landfill skip but glass jars go in recycling. The appointment system does not encourage recycling just puts barriers in the way. Wake up councillors we need vision to address the environment problems not your old restrictive practices.

The booking service is not working and is only encouraging people to dump rubbish anywhere and everywhere. The booking system is inefficient and harmful to people and the environment!

Appointment system not good for people in full time work, as they will struggle to get time that suits. More people will be either fly tipping or just using landfill bins.

I drive a ford ranger pick up as my everyday car as the height is ideal for me, you don't get stuck in winter time, and I need it for towing the caravan, but thats been since covid started im being victimised as a trader because I drive this vehicle and I'm not allowed into my local recycling centre as its classed as a commercial vehicle. Does that mean if I drove a Mercedes I would be classed as a pimp? Drove a vauxhaul, I would be classed as a murderer? drove a corsa, I would be classed as a boy racer or if I drove a vw, I would be classed as a hippy?

Us full time, daytime workers only have weekends or odd public holiday to visit these centres, so must re open to the public, as for health and saftey for the workers, this councillor is a snowflake joke, yet more sh@t to try save money, have a look internally, there are 5 or 6 people in fife council who get paid more than our prime minister, for doing what???

I’m not sure where the three times a week comes from. I drive a pickup as my personal transport and can only use two centres in Fife and the system only lets me book one visit per week. It is always empty so this is no longer needed.

Hi I am a pensioner and I also help care for my two disabled children ,and I have been waiting to dump our rubbish for over a year nearly since they closed the recycling centers to the public without appointments and trying to dump rubbish for three households with the same car is impossible as they think its all for one person.I think this is an injustice to the normal bublic. This is just so they can stop businesses from dumpling illegally .so Joe public has to suffer again .and it is a way to force people to pay to pay by having to hire skips at a high cost with no money for help to do this just like having to pay for getting you car fixed when you go over pot holes and it breaks your suspension etc.., This needs to be rectified now Thank you Mr Ds Carscadden

We have one vehicle and it is a van. So we can't access our local site even though it is household waste we have. You could keep the booking system but allow small vans in
