Hi everybody, here every one is sharing these know-how,
therefore it's nice to read this webpage, and I
used to go to see this webpage every day.

  • Jaco Taljaard - 2 years ago

I cant believe 47 % of people welcomes the suggestion that red is now her mother...and that Elizabeth had to die...have 47% of people including the writer lost their minds?????? And then worts is in south africa i can only watch to season 7 another absurd idee. Red should have been her real father somehow....cause they have had n father and daughter relationship that was heart-felt. NOT A MOTHER AND DAUGHTER RELATIONSHIP. but then again it is good that i can only watch to season 7....cause afterwards it is just n crap story line...clearly the writer lost his logic thinking afterwards!!!!

  • Niels-Henrik Larsen - 2 years ago

The ending was simply far from ok, and who Red really is, was dragged out lile a snail crossing a continent.

    It could be better ????????????

  • Shelli - 2 years ago

I'm so upset, that just really made me mad. I loved keen and this just don't make sense. I don't want to see another season yell reunion it for me.

  • Rick Daugherty - 2 years ago

Horrible ending. Complete letdown. No answers. Not good for the loyal viewers. Sucked.

  • Dee - 2 years ago

Been waiting for someone to kap liz dumba** since season 7. Glad shes finally gone &not making emotional dumb decisions. Cant wait to see the mew season without her. & my take on ot was that he never really died in the fire. Its been her biological father watching over her this whole time. Forever going to love this show.

  • Pam - 2 years ago

Horrible ending. Liz and Red make the show. It appears somehow Red could be Katarina but that's weird. Liz never found out for sure and killing her off ruins the show for me just like killing Red off would have. Very disappointing!

  • Kevin M - 3 years ago

Fuck this. Mark H couldn’t have said it better in his post from 5 weeks ago.

Trash. Absolutely trash. I had suspicions for a season and a half that they’d pull the Red used to be her mom bullshittery.

I think plans changed due to greed by the show in trying to leave it open for a season 9 without Liz.

You gotta know when to hang it up. These endings to these long series with a looming question that I spent hours upon hours waiting only to be baffled not because of raw skill in disguising the endgame but instead to totally trash the hood work done leading up to the epic shit dumpster ending just seems so lame and pathetic to me. Again…I think the stupidity is set in greed and the stench is putrid.

  • Mark H - 3 years ago

The way season 8 ended blows!!! IF it actually was staged so Liz and her daughter could sneak out the backdoor and be safe, never to be seen again, that would be barely acceptable. The idea that Red is/was actually Katarina is absurd!!! No operation and hormones can change bone structure and Red's is not that of any woman (unless she started out as some backwoods Polish bear wrestler). The way season 8 ended, Reddington will have to avenge Liz by killing all the leftover would-be assassins and then finally die from whatever disease he has, finally ending the series completely. That would be a VERY POOR finale to it all. Somehow, the writers have to allow the fans to know what THE LETTER actually contained or the entire series would be a bust. I'm continually disappointed as to how networks and writers close out series. You'd think they would actually have some kind of reasonable intellect but I guess that would be expecting too much.

  • Cynthia S Louviere - 3 years ago

I hate that liz dies. I wish she would come back and find out the truth . End it with her and Raymond going on and running the biz together.

  • Elizabeth - 3 years ago

My take is Reddington never died in the fire in the first place. He is her biological father. When she was on the swing he’s taking the picture… he said he was there. He had plastic surgery to change his face. James Spader is the show. Still my favorite show.

  • Isa Gusau - 3 years ago

I feel used and taken for granted for watching the Blacklist, including buying series on itunes. At the end, the producers proved to be far less smart compared to handling of House of Cards ending when Spicey had to go.

Killing Keen is an unpardonable failure that made the Blacklist an interesting rubbish.

  • RedMerlot - 3 years ago

Bye, bye Ms Boone. Or as we say Down Under, Ms Whispering Valium.

  • Ken - 3 years ago

The storyline of the last episode seemed really rushed. The whole thing with Liz killing Reddington in the street really just came out of nowhere. Flying Liz out and finding out secrets was good, but it was a letdown after that. Unlike a lot of people here, I like Boone and her character, but in all honestly I didn't really notice she was gone for most of this season...so if she really was killed off I think the show could still go on.

  • Scottie - 3 years ago

I don't think they had to kill Elizabeth off. Whether or not Boone wanted to leave the show they could have had her refuse to kill Reddington and then the FBI help her and he daughter have a new life with the witness protection program after she reads the letter or someone reads it to her.

  • Evs - 3 years ago

Heartbreaking that Liz died. I guess had it went the other way it would have had 1 episode of Liz reading the letter and it all making sense.

It will go 1 of 2 ways now. They never reveal who Red is and keep the vagueness etc but I think Red is Katarina’s husband. He thought Liz was his own and was there the day she was born. Red has always had a surrogate father air about him and him loving Liz like he was his own daughter and thought could have been enough for him to assume the identity of Red.

  • Ronald - 3 years ago

So the actess playing Liz was tired and wanted out of her contract. The writers were forced to kill her, as no one would accept a "look-alike" for a following season. The hint is that Red in a "former life" was Katarina's secret lover who fathered Liz, rather than her real husband nor the paramour who was assigned by her father because he was a US agent. During one season, Red clearly told Liz that he was not her father, unless that is a cover for his original identity. Another possiblility is that Red was Katarina's brother, with the same learned skills and ethics learned from their father. This would make Red an uncle of Elizabeth and now remaining great-uncle of her daughter. So now Red must take the experimental treatment mentioned by Denbe to treat his cancer, and achieve full cure, to allow the Series to continue. More work for the authors! However Liz must be really dead this time, as the hole was mid-chest, not just through one lung or shoulder.

  • Gourmet - 3 years ago

The writers (and the network) have failed their long-time fans.

    1. Killing Keen before she reads the letter and before Red confirms who he is? After all the build up? And to hint Red is Katarina? You have to be kidding!? This is a disappointing twist. Let her live (but pretend she is dead) and takes a new identity to live in peace with her daughter. Crazy to watch all these seasons of Red protecting her only to fail in the end. Reunite her with Katerina. Maybe she is Red’s sister rather than being Red which is crazy on many levels. He is too “mannish”, too tall, and too unbelievable that he is actually her mom. (I would have preferred he was her father or a love of Katerina’s.)

    2. Maybe she wakes up and the scene outside the restaurant with him is a dream of how it played out. She then goes to him and presents the plan for her to be “killed” and then she and her daughter go live in peace with the knowledge of who Red is (he could be her uncle) and a reuniting with her Mom who is not Red. (The pinky thing was just too weird. Red is not feminine by anyone’s imagination. That was a ridiculous scene.)

  • Skier - 3 years ago

It would be a horrible disappointment if Reddington turned out to be Katerina. It would not make sense for many reasons. Totally preposterous and would ruin the whole show. That is just not believable. It would show the writers got off track and did not have any idea who Red should be at the end and just gave up. What a monumental fail it would be after all of the lead up.

I also feel they ruined the show by killing Keen. Red (with Dembe ) worked so hard to save and protect Keen and then to have her die anyway makes his role and the story a failure. Especially to have her die without Red confirming who he is to her. All the build up about telling her who he was and then she dies without him confirming. If she turns out to be Katerina, I would try to avoid any more shows written by these writers…. Because that would show they gave up in the end.

They could have had her shot, but let it look like she died and then let her live with a new secret identity where she and her daughter would live in peace and Reddington could then die at the end of the last season not worrying about her. A happy ending after all these years of watching this show would have been the way to go. I doubt anyone is happy with this ending.

  • Stella - 3 years ago

I just can't deal with this anymore ???? which they'll just come out and tell us who Red is, and his relationship to Liz. I'm tired of the guessing game

  • Robert Chambers - 3 years ago

Good riddance to the character of Elizabeth Keen. Boone has never been believable in that role and was the weakest aspect of a show that was only watchable for Spader. Boone looks and acts like a daytime soap actor only and should never have been cast in a serious piece like The Blacklist. Completely unconvincing she was. The show can only get better now. And while they're at cutting out weakies, leys see Ressler killed early next season too.

  • Terry - 3 years ago

I didn’t see that ending coming at all. I always thought Reading was mostly Liz uncle. Reading as the mother is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.
I will truly miss Liz. Hopefully she can return someday. After all it is TV. Everything is possible on TV

  • Phyllis - 3 years ago

If Red is Katarina then this show I have been watching for 8 seasons is crap and full of holes! Red’s bloodwork didn’t match Liz when she thought he was her father. DNA would have matched if it was either parent. Also, Katarina has been shown as a short petite woman. Even with a sex change she wouldn’t be 6 feet tall. Get it together writers and remember your past stories. I’m so disappointed

  • Mary - 3 years ago

I’d hoped that Liz, Agnes and Restler would fly off into the sunset, but not to be. Though shocked that Liz was shot, was simultaneously relieved that Red wasn’t. There is no show without James Spader - period. The Katarina twist is intriguing … a very Blacklist finale. May all be revealed next season!

  • Sheeky - 3 years ago

What a great ending to season 8. The idea of Red actually being Katarina is amazing. What a fabulous spin on things.

  • Kat - 3 years ago

Watched all these seasons for this?? Seriously??
Ever since they changed writers it’s gone downhill.
Red is Katarina…spare me! I’m done.

  • Nichole Barlos-Garner - 3 years ago

I am very sad that Elizabeth has left Blacklist! And I think that Redington could possibly be Liz’s mother.

  • Grev - 3 years ago

Yay! Finally she is GONE. Boone is the worst character actor in history.

  • Susan King - 3 years ago

I absolutely love The Blacklist and Red / Dembe. I’m sorry Liz had to die, but I’m not with the hints of Red being Katarina. Red is a mans man, No way could they make Katarina that mannish.
Love James Spader, I would love to meet him in real life. So sexy.
Anyways I’m thinking that Liz’s daughter Agnes will be the one groomed yo take over from Red.
    Can’t wait for season 9, 10, and 11

  • Esther Pauling - 3 years ago

While it was a stunning finale, I don’t know why they have to kill her. They can always find another actress with similar physical characteristics to replace her in the role! I HATE that they would kill her before she got her answers. I think the notion of Redd being her mother is utterly ridiculous. It makes more sense that he’s her biological father. If they leave it like this I won’t watch next season.

  • Vicki - 3 years ago

The final episode was incredible, I was stunned when Liz was killed, but I don’t believe she is really dead! Red being her Mother, is a interesting theory, but in and of itself just doesn’t fly for me. I think Liz will return and there will be a Family dynamic. After all these years of watching, I want someone to be happy, and know the truth about Red’s identity! I think Agnes will be the one who will be able to handle it, no matter what it may be.

  • Michelle - 3 years ago

I thought the season finale was good, but I did have to rewind a few times to understand what was going on. I certainly hope that Red is not Katerina. One of the reasons I don't like the idea is because he had an African-American girlfriend who had no clue about his real life. I just don't think it would make sense to now throw in that she was in fact, Red all along. I'm hoping that he ends up being her real father.

  • J - 3 years ago

That was so disappointing. I had to pause and rewind I was so confused. How anticlimactic. So she just dies? No call for the ambulance or the pop up hospital. Like Red would just look at her and kiss her good bye? Ridiculous. What was all this for? I watch because I hope for glimpses of the old writing then find myself just disappointed I gave that time up. It was such an amazing show. It’s a shame it couldn’t keep up with past episodes.

  • Abdrew - 3 years ago

Finally. The most annoying, wooden actress is gone. The series got progressively worse , mushier, boring. I hope that the nest one to go is Ressler. The Blcklist is a pale imitation of the earlier seasons.

  • Merna - 3 years ago

I have been watching since day one and loved the show especially with Tom. Red could be Katarina, I hope not but Liz"s daughter called him "pinky" and said he looked more like a pinky than a Red. Keeping current with the times Transgender is a possibility. Recently the show does present as "new writer" because of the flash backs of a younger Red with Katarins. I will continue to watch because no matter (She/Her, He/Him,They). I absolutely love James Spader.

  • Mr AE - 3 years ago

Very disappointed about the season finale. If you knew Liz (Boone) was leaving the show, why not have her flee with her daughter to a foreign country? The show has been going down hill since Semar left the show. I think the writers ran out of good idea for new episodes. The idea of Red being Liz's mother is wack. Almost everyone close to Liz has been killed off ( Tom, Mr Kaplan etc) Is Agnes next? Why have her mother write her a letter and have her killed before having a chance to read it!? Poor writing if you ask me.

  • Ann - 3 years ago

Why did Liz have to die. Reddington’s life revolved around protecting her. Wish they would just work together in the next season . Sad ending … did not like

  • John - 3 years ago

Eight seasons, Red's goal is to protect Liz and Liz's to learn the truth.
None of them happened neither can happen in the future.
Excellent. Well done. What a nice way to throw away eight seasons.

  • Naby - 3 years ago

I was disappointed with the finally. It was a let down from the week before. I believe Red is Katarina, but the idea that he his a close relative is intriguing. I know he will now seek treatment so he can take care of Liz' s daughter. They do need to revive who Red is. This is getting trying. I love the show and will keep watching, but it's time to get past who Red is and where Katarina is or who she is.

  • My3kGT - 3 years ago

If Red is exposed as Katarina, sorry, that would be too much for me. I believe the logical conclusion is Red is Katarina's brother, e.g Liz's uncle and closest living relative. That's why he refused to tell her before the planned murder.

  • Tammy Schabowski - 3 years ago

Clever and intriguing true to the entire series Red was Liz Keen’s mother.

  • Joyce Rhoads - 3 years ago

Shocking end...I still believe Red is her father, but with all transgender in today's TV, anything possible. In earlier episodes shows Red as a young man with her real mom. So Father it is, my opinion.

  • Sylvia Windsor - 3 years ago

I am sorry Elizabeth was killed, I was looking forward to her working with Red, who I also decided was her mother after seeing the scene with someone having surgery and then that person leaving with long hair and a hat. No one else would love and protect Keen like he did, except her mother.

  • Brent Hall - 3 years ago

Remember the early-on episode that showed Red’s burn-scarred shoulder? That made me think he was her dad. Once her dad was revealed, and Ilya was revealed, Red being her mom was the only option that made Blacklist-sense.

  • Kalyani O - 3 years ago

I really don't believe that Red is really Rostova. Too ridiculous to fathom. Has No redeeming qualities of a woman, not in size, looks, personality or the risks he takes on a regular basis. Too many other ways to make a cover for a character believable in reality. This awkward attempt at restoring Red back to his power realm was written due to Liz's character wanting to leave, and was written hastily and unthought out. Yes, he will take care of her daughter, most likely his granddaughter. Looking forward to a new storyline where 1 of the other agents will take the place of the go between in the business between Red and the FBI. Where their new 'Hub' of Intel will get interesting. Perhaps Agent Moshtibai? And Aram as Red's assistant?

  • Sandy Kling - 3 years ago

If Red is Katarina, then what was going on with that relationship with Anne?

  • Patty - 3 years ago

I thought Red was Katarina but can’t remember when I first thought it. There’s been so many twists and turns that nothing shocks me anymore. I wish Mr Kaplan and Tom hadn’t died. They really loved Liz. I also hope Samar and Aram reunite. Glen died because he died in real life. Not much they could do about that. I liked Glens mom in the last few episodes. I can’t help but wonder how much of this show is based on a real Blacklist or something close to it. The corruption in the USA government is widespread if you ask me. James Spader has done a great job playing Raymond Redington. I can’t wait to see how the show ends.

  • mary - 3 years ago

the ending is a good one but it is beyond actual genetics that red could be liz's mother. you can change features gain weight but you can't make her mothers hands get big enough to look like red's. lots of possibilities for next years story line though

  • Laura Purvis - 3 years ago

Wow just wow can’t believe the ending to this episode I started watching this show from day one each season it seemed the writers was getting burnt out in the beginning you had some great episodes I couldn’t wait for the next episode to come on , and now it’s like I can’t wait for it to be over but since the show will be ending why would u kill off king ?? She could have left with her daughter some where and been happy and for Red to be her mother that’s Ridiculous I WILL NOT BE WATCHING ANY MORE OF THE EPISODES IF THEY ARE ANY .. This episode was crap

  • Donna - 3 years ago

What a show! I had no idea that would happen but it was a jaw-dropping season ending. There wouldn’t be a show without Red & I couldn’t see how it would work if he died. I had mixed emotions about Megan Boone’s character & didn’t like the direction it had taken the last couple of seasons so I’m really not heart broken that she’s gone. It just gives more direction for Red to continue. And Denbe (sp) is just a great character. I cannot wait for it to continue! WOW! Loved it!

  • Tiff - 3 years ago

Ok everyone understands this episode was not the series finale, right?! Blacklist was renewed for season 9 and the "Katarina" Red shot was an inposter. The bones in the suitcase were the real Raymond Reddington. I can not believe they killed off Liz I wanted her to get a happy ending, I hope there is a twist later that shows her and TOM in hiding somewhere.

  • Brian - 3 years ago

It was really upsetting to see Liz shot, I was floored it took me 2 hrs before I calmed down, but it makes sense that Red would be Katarina because he needed a new identity...after Liz was shot, the flashbacks were truly of Katarina and only (Red) Katarina would have known some of those details from many years ago in Russia, I think the Storyline is cutting edge next season will probably be it's last so all unanswered questions will be answered.

  • Brian - 3 years ago

As usual more questions than answers...but one hell of a series. Will miss it dearly.

  • Robin - 3 years ago

Who was the "Katarina" shot by Red? No explanation? If he is Katrina, who was that? He is Keen's Dad....and I believe it is a faked death...she will reappear at some point in final year. He had to protect her and Agnes.

  • Colleen - 3 years ago

I'm not a bit sad Boone left. I always thought her a weak character. She still couldn't shoot her way out of paper bag, i.e..leg wound of Neville. And what a poor profiler... Tatiana...really. I miss Glen of the DMV, a great character...I look forward to seeing James Spader in January!

  • Bobby Ensminger - 3 years ago

So Red is really a woman?!! GOOD LORDY!!! How freaking STUPID can it get?!! RIDICULOUS!!! That's it, I'm DONE!!!
    STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!!!

  • Pat - 3 years ago

Thought red was an older bro or uncle. Never occurred he was her mom. I was hoping Agnes would be sent off to live w her real grandma n live happily ever after. Who was that suitcase of bones?

  • Cari Rodriguez - 3 years ago

Amazing! Two great actors didn't see that coming will miss Elizabeth but now Red will have to protect Agnes. The story will go on if she had found out there would be no mystery which is what it's about. At this point will it start where it left off or will Agnes be much older. Can't wait for more! Love this show! Well done to all the actors.

  • Janice Marie Foote - 3 years ago

    2 Alternate Theories:
    1) Red manipulated Liz into showing up to his chosen public spot for Liz to be assassinated, not Red.
Why? To take out his present and future enemy. As well as for revenge for killing his love and trying to kill him.
Bonus point, Red is now in the lead to incorporate Townsend's criminal enterprise into his own.
    2) Liz isn't really dead.
She will return to The Blacklist with a new face under a new identity, after getting "plastic surgery".
With her new face and under her new identity, she will be a "new" FBI agent to continue working with Red and Cooper on the Blacklist.
Or under Liz's new face and identity, she'll become a full fledged member of Red's criminal enterprise.

  • Mackenzie - 3 years ago

Did we ever figure out the bones in the suitcase????

  • Doug Bangle - 3 years ago

Interesting twist. Megan Boone’s tweet seems sincere that she is moving on. When the series resumes (if), I can foresee it will be several years down the road and Red has recovered and begins to groom Agnes to take over. Or perhaps Red turns everything over to Cooper and his crew, who have been complicit in numerous criminal activities over the years and have the best of both worlds! Loved the show and been an interesting 8 years. No doubt the great writers will come up with something that no one thought of…lol.

  • Caleb - 3 years ago

Initially, I was bummed (like many of you have stated) but after reading so many things leading up to M. Boone's exit, most pieces are intentional about stating that this is her end as a series regular. The Blacklist has been notorious for twists. turns, and fake outs. With all that being said, here is my two cents:

The long haired man who "shot" Liz was actually a Reddington employee/mole all along within Townsend's organization. This is all an elaborate ruse, orchestrated by Reddington and Liz as the real way to keep Liz safe, to make the world believe she is dead. Season 9 will see Red "seeking revenge" for Liz's death and the series ends with Red and Liz re-united and her calling him "mom".

Maybe I'm completely off base but I've been a fan of this show since S1E1 and I just don't think this is the CONCLUSION that people think it is and that Liz doesn't get resolution - we'll just have to wait a little longer.

  • Richard Hailey - 3 years ago

The Blacklist now joins Game of Thrones and How I Met Your Mother with the worst series finales ever. And yes, I know the corpse of the show will shamble through another season before its inevitable cancellation. It doesn't matter. The story millions of fans were invested in has ended and in the most hateful way possible. Way to disrespect your fanbase.

  • Gary - 3 years ago

I have loved the Blacklist for the last 8 years - one of the best TV shows ever. The ending did not bother me, in fact, it made sense as Red's secret will come to light in the series finale - whenever that will be - in the hands of NBC execs now. The author's (of this post) theory, if correct, is a true modern day twist. If Red's identity and gender have indeed been changed and Katarina is Red, it's a genius move and explains everything. Future episodes will involve Red/Katarina protecting his/her granddaughter Agnes until the big reveal to the FBI task force. The series finale will be quite simple though as Red/Katarina dies of terminal illness, the task force learns the truth and Dembe inherits the wealth and brings Aram to the secluded hiding place where the love of his life (former agent) is hanging out. Fade to Black (list).

  • Mark - 3 years ago

Transgender people are forcing us to deal with them and accept them. Now TV shows are doing the same. How weird

  • Dee - 3 years ago

At a loss for words. Not sure if I should laugh or cry. Laugh because I never saw this coming, or cry because I never saw this coming. Can't wait, and hopefully next season will be dinamite. I have truly loved Blacklist. Hate when my favorite shows come to an end.

  • Valerie - 3 years ago

Not a very creative ending. Liz caused her own death because she wouldn't listen to Red and stop digging but it was sad to see her die. What happens to her daughter? How will the show go one absent that relationship? I hope there is a twist we haven't thought of.

  • Cardy - 3 years ago

Will Red succumbs to his illness on final episode, leaving the main characters dead? Or will it be revealed on final season that Liz survived and that was kept a secret so no one looks for her? Television deaths/ funerals are always tricky.
I feel less invested in show now but will watch to see if writers bring back Reds clever wit, philosophical logics and intelligent out-maneuvering of bad guys.

  • Susan - 3 years ago

After 8 seasons you kept us hanging on with too many filler characters. Leading us on different paths as if there was no intended storyline ending, making it up as you go along. Very disappointed with the ending, you don't kill off the main character, or Elizabeth should have been the main character. Don't you want the audience to be happy and not frustrated after wasting 8 years with you??

  • Vinodhan isaac velan - 3 years ago

I wish red told everything to keen and they end the season like that. Won't be the same without liz. ???? Blacklist is a drug i hate to take but addicted anyway

  • Lynn - 3 years ago

If Red is indeed Katarina, please explain the DNA test done way back in Season 3 or 4. No match to Liz I believe. If Red was Katarina, if would have showed it. Of course they could explain it away that the sample used wasn’t Red’s to begin with. And now with Liz dead, the point of explaining who Reddington is is now a mute point. Very frustrating for someone who has watched the program from day 1.

  • Wayne Johnson - 3 years ago

8 years of wondering , and STILL unsure, but who would have thought of Reddingron being Rostovia???!!! It fits all the story lines, but who would have really gone that way

  • Terese - 3 years ago

I have been hating Keen all season and have wanted her dead. After last week though I changed my mind. What better way to hide from your enemies than to transition to a man? This explains the love he had for Liz no matter what horrible thing she tried to do to him. Next season should be interesting though. Can’t wait to see how they wrap it all up.

  • Crystal - 3 years ago

I’ve been saying for several years that I thought Red was Katrina, so that’s not shocking for me at all.(The Maddy character through me for a bit but I wasn't convinced she was Lizs Mother)
But what is with all the people who are confused by sex reassignment surgery and testosterone therapy? That’s how a woman can become a man, it’s not a new thing.
I was surprised they shot Liz, I thought they’d send her off to a private island after she and Red had a heart to heart about him being her mother.

  • Yolanda Roberts - 3 years ago

I’m with all fans here very disappointed and shocked that they killed off Elizabeth! After 8 seasons instead of het fleeing with her daughter and disappearing to exit the show, they kill her! Horrible for fans that have been watching for 8 seasons. It was bad enough that Megan Boone left and then to kill her off. And no way can I believe Red is Katerina her mom! Ridiculous! If anything I kept waiting for Reddington to be het dad. We’ll see how they spin it for next season.

  • Vilma Landsman - 3 years ago

So very disappointed with this season's ending!!!!!!!!! I can't believe she had to die!! There is only one more season left, is my understanding, so why did they have to kill Keen off??? I hate the writers at this moment, so terribly wrong for big fans of the Blacklist, like myself!!!! I don't think I want to watch it now next season!!!

  • Leslie Smith - 3 years ago

That sucked, just horrible, invested 8 years for that crap ending. Don't film year 9, nobody cares now.

  • Jennice Jefferson - 3 years ago

I didn't like the idea of Red being killed by Liz and I really didn't like the idea of her being killed like that. I hope her death was fake so that she and her daughter could live in Europe peacefully, and Liz comes back soon because who is going to take care of her daughter...In my opinion the writers has some more work to do???? And I can't wait for the next season????

Red is Katarina that’s ridiculous, Reds Been intimate with women.

    HATED IT!

I loved the episode. I was shocked last week when clues were leading to Katerina and Red being the same person, and I was shocked this week at what I believe to be Elizabeth’s demise. I am still in tears. I never would have predicted either of these outcomes.

I agree with all the pissed off fans who have invested years of personal time & genuine interest in following this mystery. Giving us the hint of answers to these agonizing mysteries then stopping short at the last second was just cruel! We are left feeling empty, sad and unfulfilled! Reminds me of how disappointing LOST was in its pathetic ending. How could you do this to your loyal followers? So mad. Might as well never started the series to be kicked in the face like this/ SO AWFUL! SO MEAN! Shame on you and your poor writing staff to not be able to come up with the fantastic seadon finale we were led to expect!

...not seen episode ( or series yet as I'm in UK, so going by reports).... but red is Katarina? Let me get head round this...big burly bald dude is secretly gorgeous fem fatale???? Come on!.... LUDICROUS!!!!!

What a stupid episode! There is no show without Liz and Red. It was NEVER about the blacklisters. That was all background noise to fill space while the story of Liz, Red, Katarina, etc slowly unfolded, and came to be understood. Now it basically just becomes another good vs bad crime drama. I predict numbers will drop considerably next season, and the show will come to an end. And Red being Katarina? If that's true, one more reason to pack it in. This show had endless potential, and I've been on board since episode 1, but I doubt I even bother next season. I just don't see how they can possibly salvage something more than a slightly watchable product going forward. Such a shame

Wasted time to end this way. I’m so unhappy with how this show ends.

Should never have killed off Liz, if she's really dead. I was thinking Liz would go into hiding with her daughter, while Red continues to protect the both of them.

They have strung us along for 8 seasons waiting for the big reveal and now have found yet another way to keep stringing us along. Poor excuse for a show

Katarina is Red. If you remember Red walked out of a plastic surgeon’s office. He was transformed from a woman into a man. Red is Katarina.

  • Terry - 3 years ago

Well. That was a huge pisser!!!! I'm praying that was staged, or they miraculously save her...NEVER wanted THAT kind of ending for Liz!!!! And, to the folks having trouble with Red being Katarina..... it's called a sex change, people. And plastic surgery. Not that hard to figure out. Let's all pray for a great next season to wash the taste of this loss from our palate....

Unless Liz Keen dying at some point was always the plan from season 1, we will now never know how the blacklist was actually supposed to play out. I don't know what the reason was for Megan deciding to leave the show, but this essentially gives us a different blacklist and different ending to a show we have all been waiting patiently 8 years to get answers... this guarantees we will never know how it should have played out had she not wanted to leave the show.

Terrible ending. I wish the show would get a replacement for Liz's character. The show won't be the same without her. Very disappointing.

Joan, I had a few typos in the last question how can Red and Katarina be one and the same I don’t understand

  • Michael Basinger - 3 years ago

Joan, how can wear in Katharina do you want in the same? not sure I understand what you mean by that

  • Pam - 3 years ago

read that Liz is exiting the show “as a regular”, but hope that they make the plot that her death was just “staged” by Liz to protect herself and her daughter - and not leave her daughter without either parent - plus that way she can make guest appearances

  • Michael Basinger - 3 years ago

Somebody please explain to me how Red could be Katarina? How can a man be a woman?

  • Debra - 3 years ago

I thought this was to be the last season for Blacklist? Am I wrong. Hated the ending!

Toooo tragic ...., 2020 was bad enough, now this ....

  • Joan - 3 years ago

It was definitely OMG and "AWW" shocking but was so stunned at how Liz's ending occurred, I'm still in shock! The immersion of Red and Katarina's faces while Liz is dying and the very end at her birth makes you believe they are one in the same., but why not let us know exactly what's in the letter? Why not show WHO the man is with Katarina when kissing Liz on the forehead as an infant? I'm still in shock!
