Mayim Bialik great host of them ALL! You deserve it and i think Alex would agree.

Well, it’s apparent opinions are all over the place. My first question is…who really wants it? I say Buzzy and then Arron. They are both personable and know how to engage the contestants. I am sorry Kenn is intelligent and a known commodity but is flat with contestants. I have a hunch Robin is going to blow people away.

Aaron Was absolutely so are the best, nice smile kind, quick thoughts, good looking, good voice. He was the only one I will continue watching this show for and I have watched it from the very beginning. The only other one that remotely interest me is Mike RICHARDS . If neither one of them becomes a host I will quit watching it it was very aggravating all the rest of those people I did not like their luxe through a smile their attitude they just didn’t appeal to me at all so I hope one of them gets it.

    1. Buzzy Cohen - had the energy, knowledge of the game (rules, timing, general format) and popped with contestants.
    2. Aaron Rogers - had personality to go with the flow as Alex T did (comebacks and comments to what contestants said) and respectful of the contestants, game and stage!
    3. Jennings - but seemed more 'walk the line and not stray from protocol' which made his personality too flat.

I did not care for the others. They might be good at the jobs/professions they have, but just aren't game host personalities.
I am also disappointed to see so many vote for Bialik! She did nothing but 'promote herself' as if a resume for a job interview (which it was) but too over the top about herself. I couldn't watch that personality every Jeopardy game. Big Bang Theory remake, okay. I didn't really like her character on that show and it appears it was very much like her everyday personality post Big Bang.

Please do us all right by your final choice. Mike Richards is a good candidate, but it seems impossible to wear all the 'hats' he wears AND devote the time to Jeopardy it needs.
I am not in favor of LeVar Burton, because his off camera promoting to get the Jeopardy job! He hasn't even done Jeopardy and insists he is perfect!

Jennings for Jeopardy. He is the GOAT. Viewers feel as tho they know him. The others in the TOC are tops.

This is critical to the show! I will not watch if it’s someone I’ve never heard of. They may have eloquent speech and be popular elsewhere but do they know all the answers without a cue card? Don’t think so.
    Jennings for Jeopardy

Bialik, Richards. Jennings to me were head and shoulders above the others and would be a great asset to the show. Alex T left a big pair of shoes to fill. Hopefully in the end a wise decision will be made. For long term like Alex Trebek was I think Ken Jennings would be the perfect fit overall.
I've been a long term watcher of Jeopardy and any one other than one of these three I believe would cause the show ratings drop and I likely would be one to change the channel. No fault of the contestants but like anything else it requires a great pivot person with a good personality and keeps it interesting,
If anyone of the others are selected, as they say on shark tank I'm out..

Ken Jennings all the way. Enjoyed watching him. Better than all of them including Alex T. Interacts with the contestants well, reads the questions well and keeps the game going at a nice pace and has a good sense of humor. He’s a pro, knows the game and should be selected to host. If for some reason this does not happen George S, Anderson Cooper, Mayim Bialik and Aaron Rodgers were very good. Keep those other two horrors out of this - Katie C and Savannah Guthrie. Those two shouldn’t even be on TV. What a train wreck that was trying to get through the show with those two women. Dreadful.

I'm 72 and have been watching Jeopardy forever. I record all shows in case I am not home! Ken was good, but I think Bailik did a better job. She made it fun, knowledgeable, added humor to answers. She should be THE top runner!!! ????

  • Aida - 3 years ago

I believe Aaron is the best choice. He’s so debonair, likes me, and mostly sexy !!! Very much like dear Alex who made the show.

I do not understand all this Mayim love. She seems like a super kind and smart human BUT she awkwardly laughed at each and every question. It was unnerving.

Jennings was a superb contestant, but he doesnt have "it" to be host. Buzzy brought a lot of energy along with weird hair, weird glasses and a questionable nickname. He did have good inflection Bialik has the brains and the people skills to be (1) in command, be consistent and demonstrate GREAT inflection and (2) has "it." Her academic credentials put her over the top. Rodges is a great player and as a 49er fan I was always distressed that the stupid front office didn't draft him, but he lacks oral readng skill -- that is, great inflection. The rest are just cannon fodder. Guthrie showed what a lightweight she is when she'd end a segment gushing about what a great game was going on, yet the scores would show one person clearly clobbering the other two. She was spitting out a rote comment. My first TV station program director in 1960 said to me "television is the great unmasker." Guthrie proved him right.

Please - DO NOT pick a dull, boring guy. They all were unimpressive, their speech, and the lackluster way they gave the clues. Most of them rushed right through the questions -get to know the contestants- even cut one of them off today, mid sentence even though he asked the contestant the question. Most had no personality in their voice or their presentation. Most of them were very dry, and not pleasant to listen to or look at. Their current profession - a Doctor, Journalist, a Football player for God's sake! What does he have in his background that shows intelligence? For my part, Mayim Bialik, was spot on in all points. *** Alex would really like her. ***

So far Buzzy Cohen was the best, then Ken Jennings. However, I’d like to see Brad Rutter tryout as host . I think he’d do a great job.

  • Gary Robinson - 3 years ago

Appears 95% of hosts are well known progressives. Alex Trebek will roll over in his grave and I will never watch Jeopardy again if one of these America hating progs are allowed to host such an intelligence teaching program. I remember many ignorant statements spewed from their hatred of the U.S.Constitution.

  • Sonny Jones - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings, should have had the job from the first night he hosted

  • Paolo - 3 years ago

    Great choices::
    1. Jennings
    2. Cohen
    3. Gupta
    4. Rogers
    Maybe ok choices:
    Richards, Guthrie
    Never ever choices:
Bialik, Stephanopoulos, Couric, Cooper, Whitaker, Oz

  • Susi - 3 years ago

George Stephanopoulos was a exciting as watching paint dry, plus I couldn’t listen to his Mickey Mouse voice every day. He was as bad and boring as Savannah and Bill Whittaker ! couldn’t bear looking at buzzy every day, kinda funny lookin. Oh and levar burton, how can people even petition for him to be next host ? He hasn’t even done his stint yet. Will not watch if he’s chosen

Mayim or Mike Richards......,that’s it !!!!

  • Karen - 3 years ago

There are several guest hosts that were amazing. I loved Mayim,George,Aaron,Buzzy,Sanjay,Anderson, andSavannah. But if I had to pick just one it would have to be MAYIM❤️

  • Rex Church - 3 years ago

I would like to see Tom Beregon as guest host. I believe he would do an excellent job
