Casting of main characters was very good. Superb acting. Flashbacks and character’s backstories were mostly insightful although Nick and Rio’s weren’t that clear. A number of scenes and characters spoiled the storyline such as Vance gaining the upper hand on Beth after she broke in to Nick’s office. The girls’ efforts to make progress were thwarted too often; it was painful to watch so many failed attempts. So many things just didn’t ring true. I get that Rio got into Beth’s house once, but that many times? Was he walking through walls? The ending was dreadful, disappointing, inconclusive and totally unbelievable. How did Beth not show remorse for Annie’s incarceration? Along what lines did her relationship pan out with Rio, and how was she ‘his boss?’ What of her marriage with Dean? In reality, these people would not have been able to continue their friendships with one another nor have the resilience to keep going as they did. Rio, as charismatic as he was to viewers, should have ended up behind bars along with Nick and Beth. He was a nasty piece of work but didn’t get the punishment he deserved.
The ending SUCKED, talk about a confusing ending! The writers obviously gave up. What a waste of time.

I love this show, but I was very very very disappointed in the ending of season 4. I HATE that they just drop a show and go cold. This isn’t how the season finale should of gone. However, since it did, they should of added more episodes and done a better job at the season finale

This ending is one of the reasons I don't like watching Series. They always drop them cold in the middle of the season or simply don't conclude them as they just did with Good Girls. Other reviews have said it quite clearly.
I don't need to repeat their comments except to add the 2 hr finale had so much wasted footage. They could have wrapped it up more conclusively. Instead they put in a stupid dream sequence which is what writers do when they run out of ideas.

Loved the show, but such a confusing and terrible ending. Why let Annie take the fall for Beth’s doing. Without Beth, they wouldn’t have been in this predicament.NBC, you could’ve had a short 5th season to tie up loose edges. FINALE QUITE CONFUSING.

It was a bit of a confusing ending. I don’t know how Beth ended up in charge. I agree with everyone who doesn’t want this series cancelled. Very few network shows worth watching … this was a very good and very entertaining one. Thumbs down to the network ???? for pulling this gem.

…. and the final 2 hour ending was a big disappointment!! What was the deal with Vance? More storyline should have included the arrest of Annie!!! What happened to Beth’s husband? Jail? Free? Ugh!!! Very poor ending. Should have gone for 1 more season just to clarify all of the loose ends :-(

Of all the shows to cancel WHY Good Girls? I looked forward to each week watching that show and seeing what the girls were up to! There were SO many questions unanswered. :-(.
If NBC had to cancel a show why not one of the MANY police/FBI/crime shows that have been going on like FOREVER?!? Good Girls was one of the best! Well written and the acting was genuinely good! Those actors and actresses were worth watching every week and the chemistry worked!!. I never missed an episode! So sad to see them go :-(

I became a fan of Manny Montana because of this show. I have quickly become to dislike him very much because of this show. He is the reason the show was canceled because he and Christina Hendricks didn’t get along. The girls agreed to a pay cut so the series could have a shorter season 5, but allow the story to be wrapped up. He held out for more money.
I hate that the story was left like that. Fans deserved better, Manny. Get over yourself!

The series was great. Great acting, great writing. But the finale was poorly written and confusing. Are we supposed to understand that Beth and Rio screwed everybody else, including Annie, so she could become the big bad criminal boss in the end? It just makes no sense.

OMG!!!! REALLY!!!! could of been so much better!!!!! They left us hanging even after all this. Should of had a better ending.....love love love the show....will really miss it!!!!!!!!!!

The ending was unsatisfying given we knew it was the end. It would have provided us with cliffhangers… now we will never know. Boooooo NBC

I had to rewatch as it was very confusing .Not fair that Annie took the fall for all
Sorry Beth and Rio are not good people and to have them get away with Murder and Robberies is not what NBC should be be advocating I don’t think she should be killed off ,but jail time would be good for her and Rio needs to locked up for a longtime
To bad it had to end the way it did and NBC didn’t pickup the show for more seasons.

So the ending with our three girls is the prints on the gun were Annie’s, so she takes the fall. Ruby’s packing decides to go to be with Stan in Nevada and Beth loves crime decides to stay with Rio and become the boss of the criminals! that’s what I got out of a few years of watching this series. I feel a disappointing ending.

I had to ask Google why only Annie went to jail I was confused , re watched episode again. So Annie took the fall. Omg ????

So sad to see then end of a really good show. The last episode was confusing. I definitely will have to go back and rewatch it but I doubt it makes any better sense to me. And I don’t get why Annie was arrested. ??? So many unanswered questions. NBC could have at least let us have the last 8 episodes they were willing to air and then changed their minds. Shame. Boo. Hiss. Good Girls you will be missed!????????

We needed 1 more season greedy NBC. Replacing everything with stupid game shows. I just wanted to see Beth and Rio together because they do love each other. The brushing her hair away said it all!

Previously I said the ending was okay. I changed my mind. It sucked. Dean and Stan should have killed Vance or at the very least sucked Rio on him. I hate that Annie went to jail.

The ending was confusing. This show after 4 years deserved a much better ending. I loved the twist and turns of the last 4 seasons. "Nevada" was not the most satisfying.

Confused that Annie went to jail-for which crime that they were involved in?
Loved the show. It was funny the first few episodes until Lucy was killed.
But still loved it. Twists and turns that keeps you wondering. I wanted MORE!

I totally agree with the 3 previous comments! It didn't make sense! I was like WTF? Annie's headed to prison? Beth wouldn't let that happen! And yeah - Vance? Really? Why didn't Dean and Stan take him out? I really loved this series - it should not have been canceled! What a crappy ending to a really good show. So many questions! I am very frustrated and annoyed! Way to let all of us Good Girl fans down, NBC!????

I thought the ending was awful!!! Nothing made sense. It ruined the entire series.

I didn’t understand any of the events in tonight’s final episode. Why would Beth let Annie take the blame for shooting her and what was the purpose of the weird skincare guy?? ????????♀️????♀️ Sooooo many questions ????

How did Nick get Annie's fingerprints on the gun? They did not explain that, or did I miss something?
