Bottom three for me are Burton, Oz and Couric.
My suggestion: Go with two co-hosts: Roberts & Jennings or Roberts and Cohen. (Assumes they want the job)

Having been a Jeopardy fan for many years I would encourage you to NOT make leVar Burton the permanet.host.. He is absolutely terrible and awful to watch. Does not keep the game flowing and distracts the contestants.

It is about the contestants! Aaron Roggers and Ken Jennings gets this as does Robin Roberts. Maybe didn't it seemed it was about her niche if she she is host I'm sure to be gone.
I am a huge fan of Jeopardy, but picking a new host will be tricky. That being said, Ken, Aaron and Bill i found to be a little flat in their voices. Aaron was eye candy and Bill could put me asleep. I like Lavar but he’s a little loud and more nervous than i thought he would be. So for a fresh new show i would pick Maym or Ken Richards ( if he wanted the job). My other considerations would be Robin Roberts or Buzz Cohen.

All this fuss over a host has become more annoying than anything. The premise of the show has not changed. Granted, I loved Alex and miss him, but I always watched for the gameplay first and foremost-the challenge of playing along and testing my own knowledge. All this " I won't watch if so-and-so gets it." is beyond silly to me. I don't see why all the hate for Burton especially. He really is not that loud and, in my viewings, has not made that many mistakes or made it about himself. ( Why do any say that last? Just because he mentions wanting the job elsewhere and has a fanbase that campaigned on his behalf? If so, that is unfair. Was he supposed to act like he DIDN'T want it?) He also reads the clues like Reading Rainbow because he is the same guy with the same voice and the same enthusiasm for knowledge. What did anyone expect-that he'd have a different voice altogether? Given time and a proper chance, I think he or any of the others with passion for the game could do just fine. The key word there is TIME. And in the process, I won't stop watching regardless of who gets it, as long as the game itself remains the same. After all, that is what it's about, right? Or do others really just watch to hear the host?

If Ken Jenings gets the job, unfortunately I will no longer watch the show. He is boring and condescending. So many others were just painful to watch, Burton was the worst. I have had to stop watching the show due to such bad hosting and I really miss it. My top favorites are Mayim, Richards, Buzzy, Rogers and Savannah...even though I don't think she has a chance.

I’ll keep watching no matter who is chosen. Started watching in the ‘60s with Art Fleming and Alex Trebek was a huge disappointment at first. The person will grow into the job. Just hope it’s a pleasant person who keeps the game moving and lets the contestants shine. I don’t think this is Jennings my vote was for Buzzy, but there were several that would do well.

Buzzy was by far the best. Not only does he have a connection to the show, but his humor, timing, intelligence, and relaxed manor make him the perfect choice. Mike Richards was my favorite until Buzzy showed up. Mayim was also quite good. No one else really impressed me much. Jennings, Oz, and LaVar are at the bottom as far as I'm concerned.

Levar is the worst ever and all the women were trying to hard to impress everybody. Ken Jennings is boring and his ears sticking out bug me. I will never watch the show again if any of the others become the host I have already skipped so many they weren’t interesting they weren’t funny they weren’t smart they were clever and then make too many mistakes reading the clues and they all had personalities of kale or spinach.

We all agree that no one will ever truly replace Alex. That being said, Ken Jennings seems to be the logical choice. He is pretty much thevface of Jeopardy now. I honestly believe that Alex had started grooming Ken to be his replacement.
The one person I definitely don't want is Levar Burton.. He and his campaign to be host has become annoying. Each of the other hosts excel at their chosen professions they are not meant to be game show hosts even if the game is Jeopardy. Face it folks, Ken Jennings is Jeopardy . He has eat, breathed, slept and lived it since his first win. He is the right choice and fit for this show. I also think most would agree he is the most knowledgeable when it comes down to it.

Mike Richards was the best but I don't think he will leave his producer jobs. Ken Jennings is annoying and his voice is not suited for the job too squeeky. Mayim did a great job I just wish she hadn't looked so frumpy. Amy Farrah-Fowler had better fashion sense. All that being said I gave my vote to Buzzy. He seemed like a natural fit. Aaron Rodgers was a close 2nd.

Levar Burton has been terrible; only slightly better than Dr. Oz and Bill Whittaker. Speaks like he’s still hosting Reading Rainbow(too slow and too loud for adults). In addition, he lacks the conversational ease and sense of humor so necessary for this gig. Trebek had it in spades, and most of the other guests hosts held their own. Please don’t give Burton the job!

I've been watching Jeopardy for years. My heart broke when Alex Trebeck passed away. I know the show must go on. My favorite for a new host is Mayim Bialik. I felt Mayim has tremendous respect for Alex Trebeck, and the show. A close second would be Buzzy Cohen. Please don't put Burton in the spot. If he were the host, I would no longer watch Jeopardy. In fact I don't think I will watch it until he is done with his segment. Burton talks to loud, his timing is off, and it appears as though it is all about him.

Have watched every show since day 1. There will never be another Alex, but someone with his respect for intellect, a low key style of interacting with the all important contestants, and devotion to the material and the game like he had. Ken Jennings or Mayim Bialuk fit the bill perfectly. Some others have been fine, a few not so much, but the very worst is Levar Burton who makes the show all about him and is almost impossible to watch and listen to.

Aaron Rodgers was the best. Maybe Mike Richards. If anyone else I will quit watching a show I have quit watching it since all the ones I’ve been trying out. Levar is the worst ever and all the women were trying to hard to impress everybody. Ken Jennings is boring and his ears sticking out bug me. I will never watch the show again if any of the others become the host I have already skipped so many they weren’t interesting they weren’t funny they weren’t smart they were clever and then make too many mistakes reading the clues and they all had personalities of kale or spinach.
Levar Burton is my least favorite as a the possible replacement for Alex. I will definitely stop watching i he gets the job.
Mayim was great along with Mike and Buzzy. I had high hopes for Lavar Burtan but I was disappointed. I Aaron Rogers gets to be the host, I will never watch the show again.

We all agree that no one will ever truly replace Alex. That being said, Ken Jennings seems to be the logical choice. He is pretty much thevface of Jeopardy now. I honestly believe that Alex had started grooming Ken to be his replacement.
The one person I definitely don't want is Levar Burton.. He and his campaign to be host has become annoying. Each of the other hosts excel at their chosen professions they are not meant to be game show hosts even if the game is Jeopardy. Face it folks, Ken Jennings is Jeopardy . He has eat, breathed, slept and lived it since his first win. He is the right choice and fit for this show. I also think most would agree he is the most knowledgeable when it comes down to it.

Mike Richards was terrific. Second choice would be Robin. But, PLEASE, anyone but Levar. He is absolutely awful and beyond irritating. I will definitely stop watching if he’s selected. Whoever gets the job definitely has huge shoes to fill. Alex was one in a million……a first rate class act. May he RIP.
Yes we all have our opinion about who should be the next host. However if we see each one who has guest host, please be fair. There will never be anyone to replace Alex. Lavar Burton yes would be a awesome host,but he probably just wanted it more than those of you wanted it for him. Whoever gets the honor position l will cheer them on.
Mike Richards was the best but I don't think he will leave his producer jobs. Ken Jennings is annoying and his voice is not suited for the job too squeeky. Mayim did a great job I just wish she hadn't looked so frumpy. Amy Farrah-Fowler had better fashion sense. All that being said I gave my vote to Buzzy. He seemed like a natural fit. Aaron Rodgers was a close 2nd.
I do not want LaVar Burton, have not watched him as host, but anyone that campaigns like he has does not deserve the job. I used to like him but recently he has turned me off. If he is given the job I WILL not watch the show ever again, except for reruns of show’s previous to Alex’s death.
Levar Burton has been terrible; only slightly better than Dr. Oz and Bill Whittaker. Speaks like he’s still hosting Reading Rainbow(too slow and too loud for adults). In addition, he lacks the conversational ease and sense of humor so necessary for this gig. Trebek had it in spades, and most of the other guests hosts held their own. Please don’t give Burton the job!
I've been watching Jeopardy for years. My heart broke when Alex Trebeck passed away. I know the show must go on. My favorite for a new host is Mayim Bialik. I felt Mayim has tremendous respect for Alex Trebeck, and the show. A close second would be Buzzy Cohen. Please don't put Burton in the spot. If he were the host, I would no longer watch Jeopardy. In fact I don't think I will watch it until he is done with his segment. Burton talks to loud, his timing is off, and it appears as though it is all about him.
Mayim Balak was the best so far. I think you should give Jon Kelley from Funny You Should Ask a chance. I think he would do really well.
Very impressed with Ken Jennings hes so much like Alec as this show should no Barton hes a disgrace and would nevet watch it again. And forget even giving joe buck a chance i have not watched football games because he lnows it sll and did it all hes so annoying id never eatch jeopardy again keep him off he ruoned the world series too
Definitely not Lavar Burton, he has zero personality, and is very slow to react. If he became Jeopardy’s next host I would stop watching the show. I think Robin Roberts would be an excellent choice.
NOT Levar Burton! After the fans build up of him, I expected more. He lacks smoothness, knowledge and timing. He is too loud and appears uncomfortable, almost shouting “wrong” or “times up”.
I feel you should get a non celebraty to host they all carty bagge with them so a non celeb would b better
Have watched every show since day 1. There will never be another Alex, but someone with his respect for intellect, a low key style of interacting with the all important contestants, and devotion to the material and the game like he had. Ken Jennings or Mayim Bialuk fit the bill perfectly. Some others have been fine, a few not so much, but the very worst is Levar Burton who makes the show all about him and is almost impossible to watch and listen to.
I favor Mayim Bialik. She's smart, funny, and a woman, which may be a better direction for the show, rather than finding a man to be Alex. I find Ken Jennings annoying and immature.

Ken Jennings got my vote but I worry about LeVar getting it for his sci-fi fan base. Burton doesn’t have a natural affinity for this and the show is supposed to be about the contestants and not the host. Contestants will do better with Jennings
Richards is clearly the best! Ken Jennings good, but doesn’t hold a candle to Richards! The rest were only tolerable. I’ve watched Jeopardy since the first show and I think the standard set by a Alec Trebec will be had to fill. Pick wisely.

Buzzy Cohen. . .the very best! He doesn't talk down to the contestants, he reacts just like Alex did with all of his guest on the show. . .Complete Thumbs up! Have him on a few more time so your viewers can see him some more.

LaVar Burton reads the clues like he’s reading to children. Shouts at the contestants when he acknowledges their answers which must be a little unnerving. I will be very disappointed and disinterested in Jeopardy if he becomes permanent host.

He is like fingernails on a chalkboard—loud and over the top—and I will NOT watch it anymore if he is named host, agreeing with many here who said the same!

From my observation, Mike Richards has shown the most professional, picturesque, and personal character befitting one who would be a great Jeopardy host! His attitude, demeanor, style, character, and walk was consistent with the flow of the show!

Robin Roberts is the most impressive guest host in my opinion. She was confident and very articulate and warm.
Ken or Mayim would be my choice. Levar Burton would cause me to give up Jeopardy. Too hyper and over acts.

I haven’t liked this whole year of substitutes. It’s taken a lot from the games & put more attention on the guest host. I’m tired of it all & at the point of not caring if I miss a program.

LeVar Burton is the worst. He pauses too long between questions and letting the contestants know if the answer is correct. He has made more than 1 error.

Buzzy has Jeopardy host written all over him. I think he has the potential to be as sharp and well-liked as Alex.
Mike Richards is the Best by a wide margin, but he should be because, he is after all the show's producer. Ken Jennings is who Trebex wanted and he is the next best, however everyone did okay, including Dr. Oz, the hate for him is ridiculous, he was as good and better than some, I don't understand!
I really was disappointed in Levar Burton...thought he was acting more than hosting...the contestants should be the stars...My favorite is Robin Roberts...warm, quiet, yet in control...very easy to see her????
Mayim and Michael are the best. Both seem comfortable as host are quick to respond when the contestants answer
and are very knowledgeable.
So far, LeVar has not had the courtesy to acknowledge Alex on any of the shows. He is self centered and boring. If he becomes permanent host my family will no longer watch the show.

I would like to see Brad Rutter try out. He has an engaging personality and is very bright (of course!). I think he would be a wonderful host.
Richards is really good . Very relaxed & at ease with the audience. I Would love to see him as permanent host. Lavar Burton is just awful. In my opinion he’s worse than Dr Oz. If he was going to be on for more than a week, I wouldn’t be able to watch him. He’s nervous, he appears unsure of himself.Not pleasant to watch.

I always felt Alex really wanted Ken Jennings to replace him and I think he did a good job once he overcame his nervousness.
Richards is the best by far. Burton, the latest guest host, is too dramatic, has a squeaky, irritating voice and is one of the worst so far.
