I loved the original Fantasy Island with Ricardo Montalban and this reboot with Roslyn Sanchez I know I’m going to enjoy.. I loved the premiere very much… didn’t care about Ruby and the lesbian scene I’m just hoping it was just this one time.. I am hoping that it becomes successful and I can continue to watch the show.

All these comments about oh that's a lesbian nod.... It wasn't lesbian it was the island choosing her as the servings in command. However if it had been a lesbian nod so what I mean are these comments for real???? It's 2021 get over yourselves. You love who you want let others live who they want. It's just so disturbing and sad that at least 5 comments said they hated the new series because of that.

Really like Roselyn Sanchez and was excited about this new reboot. After watching first episode, I was disappointed with the lesbian take but not surprised in this modern day society. Not everyone is in to this lifestyle. May try one more episode and decide if I will continue or not waste my time watching something that is not appealing to me.

I only occasionally watch the original series. I thought I’d give this a try. I really loved it. I plan to DVR the series. It is very warm and seems heartfelt.

I love Rosalyn , she's a wonderful actress, what I didn't like Ruby leaving her family, as a grandmother, I can't make a life for myself without my family, and if she lives forever she will see her family go before her, then again if her memories are gone , that's different. But always loved Fantasy Island.

NOTE: SPOILERS included!! I did NOT like the fact that Ruby seemed to cheat on Mel and then let him go home alone! I feel the show should have written him in somehow so they could still be together. I guess the hint to lesbianism was for us realize he really did love her more than she loved him, as he had said. And the hint to cannibalism was ridiculous and disgusting!

I was a big fan of the original Fantasy Island
as a kid ! Loved the premier episode of this new Fantasy Island. Isn't Ruby the lady who played Zoe in The Bold and The Beautiful ? I think so ! I can't wait to watch more!

I loved the original and have watched the reruns again. I am excited and hopeful that this will continue. I loved the tie ins to the original character but miss the little guy. Also liked that they tried to explain about the history. Elena was perfect, accent and all. I am not sure about Ruby but too soon to make a decision. It wasn’t a lesbian thing but a connection to the island. The girl was called Isla-referring to the island. I loved that!I hope that they give the show a chance. You need at least one season to tell if things will work. I get hooked on shows and then they are gone!

have not been interested in many new shows but this one is awesome. I think Roslyn Sanchez is a great actress and she's a perfect in this show.

I was a huge fan of the original Fantasy Island! I think I’m going to be a fan of the new one too! My husband and I both watched the premiere together which we don’t watch a lot of tv shows together. We both really enjoyed it and left us wondering what will be the next story line! Thanks so much for a great show!!!

The original show was a lot more innocent, more of a family show. This new version Could have done without all the lesbian ink tattoos, etc. But of course everything has to be perverse these days.

I really liked it. I just stumbled on it cuz it ran after Lego masters but it was well written and I liked the idea of this woman putting to rest the cruelty of her stepfather. That whole scenario was articulated well.

Exceeded my expectations! Well written, carefully situated, good acting amid gorgeous scenery. Sofisticated and Hollywoodwise cinematography.
I'm certainly already hooked.

I wasn't holding out a lot of hope for this show, although I really like & respect Roselyn Sanchez. However, I was pleasantly surprised and totally enjoyed the premiere. It was well written, and seemed to tie in well with what I remember from the lore of the original. I actually think this was much better and holds more promise as an ongoing series.
