You would think bringing up the rear would be a Bomb, but Joe Buck killed it as the best of the guest hosts. He was personable, quick, intelligent, and read questions great. I was a Ken Jennings fan all the way , but Buck’s performance was right up there. He would make a great Jeopardy host.

Joe Buck was the best host by far. He was the only guest host who seemed relaxed. He was funny and knowledgeable. All of the other guests were stiff and seemed to be just reading answers and questions. Joe sounded better prepared than the others. He’s a keeper!

I loved Joe Buck, he has integrity. He did remind me of Alex, made everyone comfortable. I also think Ken Jennings should come back. That was tough being the first guest host of Jeopardy. He was trying to be sensitive & not over step. I have no respect for Richard's. Anyone who takes advantage of women shouldn't be a host.

I had no idea who Joe Buck was before this. I knew who all the other guest hosts were. I thought he was the best of the best. I had my mind & heart set on Ken Jennings, he deserves the job as a true face of the game, plus he was the best at hosting..However, Joe Buck was teriffic.
I won't be watching Jeopardy any more. There choice was not based on talent & skill, it was based on politics . Mayim was chosen as a token " non-white male" , although she was good, she wasn't as good as Jennings & Buck. GOOD BYE JEOPARDY. R.I.P. ALEX

Joe did a great job, infusing humor as well as directing the show in an efficient manner. Just like his football and baseball announcing, he well spoken and informative.
Mike Richards also did a great job and will be good as the permanent host.
I’m sure Mayim will do well hosting the special events.
The one that many people seemed to want from the beginning was, in my opinion, one of the worst. Great guy, but too many pauses and delays after an answer was given. Very distracting and it throws the efficiency of the game off.
So, good luck Mike and Mayim and put Joe on the short list to fill in if needed.

Never heard of him, first show... Who is this loud guy!!? Then he grew on me. Has all great qualities of a game show host, and much better than all current hosts on those awful game shows ( except wheel host) . Way better than Richards, what a bore. I too thought that was a done deal.?? How do we get the "heads" to overturn their decision?? BIG mistake! I'm afraid I'll lose my Jeopardy enthusiasm if Richards stays. I'd be happy with Ken or Joe.

Have watched the show off and on for years (I'm old) and I think Aaron Rogers, David Faber, and Joe Buck have been the best. Picking Bialik is like picking Dr Oz. She may have a degree but she's anti-science. Sorry but I think Lavar Burton treated contestants like they were 7 year Olds learning a new subject in school. Whole process sounds rigged to be honest. I'll keep watching as long as Matt stays on, then I'm done. Definitely won't watch Bialik specials.

I don't follow sports, so I had no preconceived opinion of Joe Buck. I enjoyed his upbeat personality and enthusiasm. I also liked Dave Faber and would have preferred one of them as host. But, the decision for a permanent replacement was probably made before either had hosted.

As a baseball fan, I’m very familiar with Joe Buck. However, I was pleasantly shocked by his hosting turn. I think he was really far and away the best. He was laugh out loud funny, loose, brought out the best with the contestants, was very encouraging to them, called the game in an exciting way that sculpted a narrative. And his timing as great. He was the only host to make the game his own. I loathe what Richards pulled, and I won’t watch anymore.

I think I like Joe Buck the best. He seemed at ease was quick with his wit. Like a previous commenter said it felt that it was already decided for who they picked but it was still fun with all the guest hosts. Still no one is going to replace Alex Trebeck.
Best host he should have been the replacement. He has a good sense of humor he reminds me so much of Alex Trebek they missed the boat on this one.
Joe Buck did a great job better than most but I like the format of guest hosts.
When I saw who got the job, it made me think the whole thing was a publicity stunt, with a predetermined winner. Who has a better shot than the executive producer of the show. It’s a terrible thing to do something so obvious, at least to me. So the boss gets the job.
I have no idea who this guy is and have never heard of him but as far as I'm concerned, they left the best for last. He would be my #1 choice for host!
Have enjoyed his time on the show. Was not familiar before this but did a great job
