Hello! My name is Gary, but sometimes work under the alias of Jumblary. With coffee in hand, I busily solved today's Jumble and upon completion, busted out a celebratory prance and dance. May your Labor day weekend be not physical, but calm and relaxing!

Hi Mickey…I’m a little late getting to these comments tonight, but I just posted the same thing to Anita. More than a few readers today thought Canary also. Thanks for commenting.

Hi Anita. It might look like CANARY at first quick glance, but Canary has 2 As, and only 1 N…while our letters here give us 1 A, and 2 Ns…David prides himself on never choosing letters that would spell out more than one word. Have a good night…

Hi, I played with "canary" also at first, but saw that it had too many n's and not enough a's in NNARYC to fit; so it must be "cranny"!

Hi, I at first thought those letters spelled “canary” too, but then I figured out the cartoon puzzle first, & it didn’t fit! Then I realized the word was “cranny.” :)

Anita, check again, Those letters cannot be canary. At first I thought that was that word too. Then I realized that those letters only spelled cranny.
