Loved Smallville! I have all seasons on DVD and have watched them 5-6 Times all the way through. Would like to see a reunion bring it back. I'm sure some of the characters would come back. Especially if the money was right. Lol I did love the morals and values of always trying to do the right thing.

I choose both I love supergirl and smallville both great shows of there generations. I wish they did a cross over with smallville, sugergirl and superman and lois. I know they did that already but I want to see them just have one for one big epic episode. They can now do both supermans, cause Tom welling superman is now human. And it would be interesting to see how smallville Clark and lois two girls interact with there counterparts Clark and lois girls and superman and lois boys. Will one or both girls have powers or just one of them. Clark and lois meet Clark and lois , lex meets lex, sugergirl meets sugergirl. Lana meets Lana , Clark and lois girls meet Clark and lois boys.

Smallville hands down. Supergirl is a great show, but smallville was something spectacular that just had a way of pulling me into the storylines. It is definitely one of my favorite shows that i have binge watched quite a few times. Only other show that could compare IMO would be supernatural.

Supergirl is ok, but I’m all seriousness, you cannot say it is better than Smallville with any kind of credibility. If you think Supergirl is better, you’re eiher too young to have actually experienced Smallville or you prefer shows with simplistic plots, force-fed social justice narratives, and boring supporting characters. Or hell, maybe both. Regardless, from an objective standpoint, the worst Smallville episode is better than the best Supergirl episode.

Cmon Smallville literally ended almost ten years ago, get over it, Supergirl deserves the success and the attention.
I love supergirl but with Smallville you get more insight on his younger days growing up to an adult and not alot of supergirl past history of her growing up on the site. Very tough decision between the two but I'd have to say Smallville.
Smallville should take this whole tournament. It paved the way for shows like Arrow, supergirl, flash, ledgends etc.

Have the whole series on DvD... Loved the stories and the characters... Tom Welling hands down portrays the best Clark Kent he nailed it... Micheal Rosenbaum was the best Lex Luthor... Erica Durance will always be Lois Lane... Loved Allison Mack as Chloe even tho she was a made up character. Clarks parents were spot on and we cant forget the MAGNIFICENT BASTARD LIONEL LUTHOR showing lex father and how lex was raised in a loveless home showed how he came to be lex back story was one of the best besides Clark of course.

Sg is loaded with woke , diverse, current event mainstream news- story telling. I watched it the first season, and part of the second season. Then once it moved to the CW is when it went downhill fast. Terrible characters and character stories. Maybe it's popular with the woke leftist culture for those reasons, but if your comparing using valid comparisons like acting skills, story telling, characters you care about. Then SG is garbage.
And before you say I'm just a redneck right wing, hater, I'm in love with dreamy. Probably the only good actor on the show. And she's hot.
Smallville didn't have the cheap looking props, the characters were all very likable and the actors were spectacular.
I chose Smallville obviously. I like Supergirl, but Smallville is the infinitely superior Kryptonian shows. Funny how many if the Supergirl voters here have female names. Not being biased or anything, just pointing out my observation.
Smallville of course. This isn't even a competition. Anyone who says something like Supergirl is better should never have their opinion on anything taken seriously. Without Smallville, none of the current, or shows that have been since its end, would even been possible. And that is the case for both Marvel & DC alike. Hell, no other superhero/comic book show has had Smallville's longevity. That's just a fact. Oh and to the previous guy: No Smallville was not cancelled, it ended. It had a planned series finale & everything. Supergirl was a good idea on paper but was poorly executed. The majority of the series was things they stole from the various Superman comics, movies, & TV shows. They rarely even used anything from Supergirl's 60 plus year mythology. Hence the reason they had to think up something completely new when they decided to do Superman & Lois.
How Smallville is canceled and Supergirl is still on is a wonder to me. We were all awaiting to see the storyline move forward with Michael Rosenbaum and Tom Welling as well as the Kryptonians. We never got to advance that part of the story. Thankfully, Krypton came along to fill the void left by Smallville, then yet again, it only went 1 season. Sad...

Another instance where I love both shows. I chose Supergirl because it answers questions to issues that affect us now while maintaining a gripping storyline. Tom Welling will always be my favorite Clark Kent and Michael Rosenbaum will always be the best Lex Luthor, however, the entire cast of Supergirl won me over in spades.

Superman has a boring storyline, I never considered his character exciting. The plot for superman as a high school teenager, discovering his powers was ABSOLUTELY GENIUS!! I've enjoyed every season and I truly miss this show. SMALLVILLE is the best!!
