I loved both Smallville and SPN. Both had seasons and characters that just sucked. However, while Smallville left me with a warm feeling starting season 8, SPN did not. Not because of the ending but the maturity. SPN ending was just weird and even the death made zero sense. The effect of Dean dying on a random mission failed because SPN is ridiculous enough for humans to beat god and also while Jack was a great character, it was weird that suddenly he was everywhere in the end and just conveniently not enough or super powered at times (thinking Vision and still sour over tht one). Anyway, words cant convey how much I enjoyed SPN. Even so I watched in 2 different languages! But when I think about it, Smallville handled the journey better. Congratulations to all the fans! Our favorite shows made the final. Be safe out there

This wasn't hard to decide at all. Supernatural Hands Down!! I have been watching the Supernatural since the beginning in 05'. I have every season as well. I watch SPN every morning on TNT. As of today 9/16/21 the final 5 episodes of the series finale will be on TNT beginning at 9am central time. This will be the 3rd time I have watched the series finale. 1st on the CW and 2nd and 3rd time on TNT. Then it starts all over again. I always seem to find things I missed on many episodes when it starts again as well as actors who were portrayed in an episode in the beginning and portrayed again as a different character in latter episodes. Basically considered the "Easter Eggs" Most hard core fans know what I mean. Ok stepping down now and done talking. Sorry for getting carried away. I'm off to "Carry On" S15 EP20. Supernatural. It's funny, but even I haven't finish the whole 15 seasons, my heart remains with both Winchester brothers and Castiel. The cast is amazing and how great the story is of each episode and every season has evolved. I love horror and fantasy content, but this tv show, it's not just entertaining, but it gave me the most insightful and reflexive moments about my relationship with my older brother. Supernatural it has been so personal and a thrilling ride, an emotional roller-coaster ride. My favorite tv show so far.

Smallville is the GOAT, but due to supernatural being continued 10 years after smallville ended it still had the opportunity to grow its fanbase. Shit half the people voting were to young to have even seen smallville air its pilot. Smallville might lose, but it's due to fan girls gushing over Jason Ackles. I have come along way life's struggles. Supernatural was there, and I have watched it from the very first episode. I now have all seasons. I have joined a group on Facebook SPN over 30. I have been a member for several reasons. Supernatural took pain my pain for a week and helped me for one hour , I focused all my attention to see the the boys every week. I have been a loyal fan. It really bothered me that I couldn't be at one of their conventions, because I didn't have the in money. I would have loved to come and meet DEA no and Sam. I love you boys

Really liked both shows. Have the DVD's for all seasons of both shows. However, my vote has to go to Supernatural. By the 10th season of Smallville, it was getting a bit boring, and I was ready for Clark Kent to put on the cape and end the series. Supernatural, on the other hand, I could have watched 15 more seasons. I don't want to put down either show because the fact that they are up against each other for the best CW show ever really says something about both shows. But Supernatural was definitely the best ever IMHO.

While I loved Smallville, I lost interest when Michael Rosenbaum aka, Lex Luthor, left. Tom Welling played a very compelling Clark Kent, but his character had no substance. Meaning he always played the good guy.
Supernatural on the other hand, had characters that were not always the good guys. Also, I really loved the mythological storylines and the religious spin the show wasn't afraid to go into. The casting was also phenomenal. Nobody except Misha Collins could play Castiel. I also can't imagine anyone else playing Sam and Dean Winchester. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles brought those characters to life.
While there has been many reiterations of Superman over the years, there has only ever been one Supernatural.
My vote is for Supernatural, hands down the best show ever!

There's a lot I could say about both of these shows, but I won't get into all of that.
Bottom line: My niece LOVED Supernatural and convinced me to start it up on Netflix several years ago. I enjoyed watching it with her, but when she moved out of state, the show just wasn't enough to keep me watching. I don't even remember where we left off. Season 4? 5? No clue.
Smallville, on the other hand, is my all-time favorite TV show! I have all 10 season on Amazon and am currently on my umpteenth re-watch! Smallville paved the way for the current TV super hero genre, and there's a lot of good stuff out there! Tom Welling ran so that Tyler Hoechlin could fly! Long live the House of El!

It really bothered me that I couldn't be at one of their conventions, because I didn't have the in money. I would have loved to come and meet DEA no and Sam. I love you boys
Really liked both shows. Have the DVD's for all seasons of both shows. However, my vote has to go to Supernatural. By the 10th season of Smallville, it was getting a bit boring, and I was ready for Clark Kent to put on the cape and end the series. Supernatural, on the other hand, I could have watched 15 more seasons. I don't want to put down either show because the fact that they are up against each other for the best CW show ever really says something about both shows. But Supernatural was definitely the best ever IMHO.

Supernatural gave us the most undeniable chemistry between two leads for a 15 year run that we are emotionally invested in. THAT we (I know I won’t) may never have in a TV show again. & a cherry ‘67 Chevy Impala. I fell in love with all 3. & miss it with my whole heart. Especially the early years. Our little show that could kicked it right in the ass & changed my life for the better.

While I loved Smallville, I lost interest when Michael Rosenbaum aka, Lex Luthor, left. Tom Welling played a very compelling Clark Kent, but his character had no substance. Meaning he always played the good guy.
Supernatural on the other hand, had characters that were not always the good guys. Also, I really loved the mythological storylines and the religious spin the show wasn't afraid to go into. The casting was also phenomenal. Nobody except Misha Collins could play Castiel. I also can't imagine anyone else playing Sam and Dean Winchester. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles brought those characters to life.
While there has been many reiterations of Superman over the years, there has only ever been one Supernatural.
My vote is for Supernatural, hands down the best show ever!

There's a lot I could say about both of these shows, but I won't get into all of that.
Bottom line: My niece LOVED Supernatural and convinced me to start it up on Netflix several years ago. I enjoyed watching it with her, but when she moved out of state, the show just wasn't enough to keep me watching. I don't even remember where we left off. Season 4? 5? No clue.
Smallville, on the other hand, is my all-time favorite TV show! I have all 10 season on Amazon and am currently on my umpteenth re-watch! Smallville paved the way for the current TV super hero genre, and there's a lot of good stuff out there! Tom Welling ran so that Tyler Hoechlin could fly! Long live the House of El!

Smallville fucking sucks. Worst superhero show ever made. And to top it off superman is the worst superhero to ever exist. Supernatural is probably one of the best shows ever created. They put a new turn on monster shows and casting and writing are absolutely impecable
I watched both shows through multiple times and love them both. Its almost unfair that I have to choose but no matter how difficult the decision is, it must still be made.

Smallville all the way. Supernatural should of endded after 5th season. While it was ok after 5th season, they just fell away from fighting monsters. Only smallville problem was filler episodes that didn't mean anything. Still was best thing on CW
