SUPERNATURAL gets my vote I started watching when I was placed once a week in a hyperbaric chamber to help heal my right leg ( lost the leg anyway) the boys and the show got me through they would always put them on for me to watch once I went to help keep me calm, very claustrophobic. Sometimes I would close my eyes and just listen to the calming voices. Thanks guys for getting me through. Good luck.

Supernatural. Even when it was inconsistent, it was still more compelling than anything else out there. I watched Smallville too, but after Michael Rosenbaum left, I lost interest. He was probably the reason I watched the show in the first place because I find superheroes boring. I did perk up in season 4 of Smallville when Jensen was in it. I followed him to Supernatural and was hooked for 15 years.

Correctly predicted each matchup from beginning to now. I wrote in the beginning it would come down to the top 2 shows Supernatural vs Smallville as they were and still are the best this network has had. It’s destiny for the Winchesters to face the Man of Steel. In the end, the gold standard, top of the food chain can be only 1. And without a doubt, the best show is Supernatural. Honestly, superman's back story really isn't all that interesting, it's very limited in creativity just because of the story line. Supernatural covered everything, though sometimes repetitive, still far more interesting than Smallville. And the Fandom of supernatural is out of this world.

Tough choice. These are 2 of my 4 all-time favorite tv shows, regardless of network, genre, or era. Ultimately went with Smallville for the win. Smallville only had 2 bad seasons (8 and 9), and 2 mediocre seasons (6 and 10). Supernatural had a lot more than just 2 bad seasons, and 2 mediocre seasons, and was literally supposed to end a decade earlier. It became way too inconsistent (1 bad season, then 1 good season) after season 5.
However, Supernatural seasons 4 and 5 were friggin epic! Had it ended after season 5 like it was originally supposed to, I would have voted for it. But, it was allowed to go on for WAY too long after that, to the point where its quality became too diluted and it was a shadow of its former self. After season 8, there were more bad episodes than good ones, but still displayed flashes of brilliance several times a season.
Interesting that Jensen Ackles was on both shows (Smallville season 4, then Supernatural season 1 began right after that).

You cant simply go by number of seasons. Supernatural was dragged out over time by incredibly terrible stories due to simply ratings at the time. Smallville on the otherhand had incredible story development and died out because the actors were simply ready for something different. Although you cant blame them, they easily couldve gone for more seasons. Hell they even continued 2 more seasons in comic form! SMALLVILLE FTW anyday!

This would have been an easier choice if The VD had beaten Smallville. So tough to call. Supernatural all the way. Smallville was just ok... let's put it this way. Jensen was in both shows. I love my comic book shows/movies/animated series. So, Tom and Jensen both have voiced batman. My favorite comic other than The Green Arrow. My sons name is Oliver for that exact reason. Buttt 15 seasons. 20+ episodes each. In the time supernatural had its run. 05' I was in 10th grade. Now I'm married and have a kid the same year spn ended. Smallville felt too "childish".

While Sam, Dean, and Superman all appeared with Scooby and the gang, the Brother Winchester don't need capes. They have an Impala that helped mic drop the Devil himself. Supernatural's most legendary episodes were always when they took time to appreciate the fans and make fun of themselves a bit. With a tip of the cap to Smallville, folks, this isn't even close. 100% supernatural!!! The chemistry of the winchester boys and supporting characters is unmatched. The incredible story lines and the humor are unheard of before this series. Which ended too soon in my opinion. Jensen & jared, we are all hoping for some kind of reunion!!

I really really want to vote for Supernatural, as it is one of my favorites. I just hate how they ended it, especially the last season. I think Smallville had a much more polished and finished ending. If Supernatural had ended at season 5, then it would have been number 1 for me. Strong number 2 tho.

While Sam, Dean, and Superman all appeared with Scooby and the gang, the Brother Winchester don't need capes. They have an Impala that helped mic drop the Devil himself. Supernatural's most legendary episodes were always when they took time to appreciate the fans and make fun of themselves a bit. With a tip of the cap to Smallville, folks, this isn't even close. Supernatural wins this, hands down.
