Franklin County football Player of the Week for Sept. 17
QB Louie Lindsay (Waynesboro): 6-for-10, 92 yards and a TD, 9 rushes for 70 yards and 2 TDS. Waynesboro kept on rolling, thanks in large part to Lindsay, who led the way with three total touchdowns
DE/TE Anthony Smith (Shippensburg): Sack, 2 catches for 70 yards and a TD. The Defensive end produced on both sides of the ball again, hauling a 63-yard TD in Shippensburg's win
WR Malachi Scott (Chambersburg): 3 catches for 157 yards and 2 TDs. The Trojans were able to hit a couple of big plays against State College, with Scott leading the way on them, hauling in 77 and 80 yard touchdowns
RB David Niebauer (Greencastle-Antrim): 18 rushes for 84 yards and a TD. Niebauer was his usual self against East Pennsboro, finding the end zone on a 10-yard run in the first half
LB Callin Kauffman (Waynesboro): 9 tackles, 2 for loss, 1 INT. Kauffman led the way on the defensive side again as Waynesboro shut down West Perry all night
