Zyree Brooks, Spring Grove: The 5-foot-7, 170-pound senior running back erupted for 224 rushing yards and scored four touchdowns during Friday's YAIAA Division I win over visiting Northeastern. Brooks scored on runs of 6, 35, 50 and 65 yards in the win. Spring Grove is off to a 4-0 start to the season.
Michael Scott, Dallastown: Scored on two touchdown receptions Friday as Dallastown defeated previously-unbeaten South Western in a YAIAA Division I game. The freshman finished with five receptions for 128 yards.
Damas Edouard, York Suburban: The 5-foot-5, 150-pound senior running back gashed the Eastern York defense for 149 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries in a YAIAA Division II win on Friday.
Jacquez Simmons, York High: The receiver caught six passes for 176 yards and three touchdowns in a 60-20 win over Dover. York High is now 3-1 and has won three straight games.
Andrew Adams, York Catholic: The senior rushed for 170 yards and a touchdown on just 11 carries in a 41-12 win over Littlestown. York Catholic is now 3-0.
Ricky Pacana, Bermudian Springs: The senior enjoyed an incredible all-purpose night Friday. He rushed for 122 yards on just eight carries and caught three passes for 100 more yards in the 41-15 win over Hanover. That included a 65-yard scoring reception.
Dylan Lease, Dallastown: The senior excelled on both sides of the ball on Friday. He quarterbacked Dallastown to a YAIAA Division I win over South Western, passing for 160 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 90 yards and two scores. Lease added 10 tackles, including a sack, on defense.
