I liked the show … right up to where Max and Sharpwin decided to go off to England. They are the main force of the program. If this happens, no more New Amsterdam for me. I do like the other characters … and where the writers are going with their roles are fine. But Don’t take Max and Sharpwin off. The show won’t work.

Music was so loud you couldn’t hear the dialog. Total disappointment!

We can’t understand most of what the dialogue was since background music was so overwhelming. Please make some improvements!!

Had to have closed captioning on to know what’s happening. Music and periferal sound is way to loud.

Terrible show. Music horribly loud. Could not make out dialogue. Way too much shown with Helen and Max. Weird how2 story went back and forth. Fire not what I want to see on a show about a hospital and the doctors.
Loved show til now. Not sure I'll go back.

The music was so loud it was almost impossible to hear the actor's speak.

Why can't we have a real relationship with Sharpwin? Not every relationship ends. In real life, most lasts. Unfortunately as Hollywood would play it, they will 'make' it work for a minute and then break up. I'm only here for their relationship. Once that's over I'll be gone. As I also fear, they will remove Helen from the show, and she makes it worth enjoying. This show has no boundaries and it's about to cross mine.

I love this show BUT. I missed a great deal of it because the music continued to be so loud I could not understand the dialogue. Am I the only one???

I like Sharpwin though I'm not crazy invested in it, but I think this storyline is a waste of time and lazy of the writers. We KNOW this isn't going to happen, obviously Max isn't leaving the hospital nor is Sharpe--this feels like a repeat of the Reynolds story--we knew he wasn't leaving the show so obviously the relationship and SanFran wasn't going to work out, and it didn't. So now we have to slog through Sharpe figuring out she isn't staying in London and Max figuring out he can't leave NewAm and it's just so predictable. Bleh...was expecting more. Liked Iggy's storyline though, and Wilder has tons of potential.

Like what a shock ... I cant stop thinking about that huge turn around its insane, I mean what's the point of it all!!! I agree with that statement them letting us enjoy seeing them happy come on, now sharp has to leave and max wants to follow her like come on what is that?!????‍♀️

I know everyone wanted to see the Sharpwin moments after the closed door. What started out beautifully took an unexpected and wrong turn--at least for this fan. Couldn't we have had 1 complete episode of pure joy, happiness and love rather than sacrifice, struggle and potential break up (so soon) is not what fan signed up for, imo. Very disappointing and almost a devastating episode; so be careful of these polling number %'s looking "high" for if the Sharpwin situation isn't resolved ASAP and they get back on track quickly (without so much angst and struggle), the fan base may leave.
