Obviously new writers. This show is doomed. I’ve enjoyed previous seasons but this episode was trash in every way. I won’t waste time watching another one

Did NOT enjoy or like this episode. The writers missed The boat completely and are apparently going after layers of absurd emergencies that leave out any of The characters. The show is known for the character interplay, with emergencies as a backdrop. This episode had the formula in reverse, the multiple emergencies never allowed for anything but very minor character interplay and just flat out overpowered with shock, horror, suprise, disgust, chaos and catastrophe. Too much packed into one episode.
Must have added new writers that wanted to wreck the show, prove a point and had a bigger budget for mayhem, chaos, gore....turning this into a slasher/rapist bunch of episodes is a cheap signal that ideas for the show are running out of gas. I hope I'm wrong. I hope "911 Lone star" fares better for its season opener.....This was appalling.

The first episode this season was creepy excellent!! What didn’t happen? I was blown by the opening and it just continued to deliver in the best possible way. Then wowza the end and I was not expecting that. Cannot wait for the next episodes.... sitting on pins....oh and needles

This was a nail biter omg I loved it ! The twist at the end, I screamed....the way the world is going now, you never know ... it definitely very well could be a reality one day...... which is very scary.... especially in this technology based world....the airport controller's scene-I was holding my breath... Can't wait for the next episode!!!!!!!

The first episode was over the top. It was not realistic, and there were too many twists and turns Are there new writers or a team that does not know how to balance real world with fantasy?. Slow it down, and make sure it's believable.

Too much chaos ...especially( Lou the cop) having his throat slashed..too much violence in a real world of violence..

I actually changed the channel 1/4 of the way through. How absolutely ridiculous to just keep piling on one emergency after the other. We didn’t even get to wrap our heads around one and here comes another…. And another…. And another… we don’t need this! TV is supposed to be enjoyable not stretched so far out that eventually I just said “enough!” It wasn’t enjoyable. It was stressful, unrealistic and filled with situations of anxiety. That is NOT fun! I was extremely disappointed!!!

I love this show. I really did enjoy this episode, BUT... why do they have to keep Maddie being a gloom and doom, always bawling, character? She has a beautiful smile and I've loved her in other shows, but she wears me out! The writers need to get her well and happy!!! And soon!!!

Holy crap on a cracker I remember when they used to END a season with a cliffhanger, not start it with one! I didn't like that the rapist got to question them in court, I muted that... But the rest... OMG
I was sat on the couch saying to myself "OMG 911 WTF are you doing to me!?!?????
I'm just so glad this show is so popular they aren't gonna cancel it on me. ????

This premiere was too "over the top" for me. I mean really???? The rapist escapes twice and the second time with the help of the Lawyer he fired The producers definitely tried to fit far too much unbelievable into this premiere for me

I thought this episode was fantastic. And I feel these next few episodes will tackle each crazy thing that happened on this episode into its own episode. That's for the first few episodes. And Susan reason why the air traffic control workers were having heart problems or heart attacks was because they have bypass markers which are to help people who have low heart health where their heart does not function the same way as it used to by itself without the help of machines

Could have definitely been a 2 hour episode with more information on why the air traffic control workers were having heart attacks/problems. The ending when the lawyer slit the detective's throat was shocking.

I would have prefered the premiere to have focuses on the hackers. I didn't like the rapist escaping twice and his crazy fanbase. I also wish they would stop putting Maddie in this emotional rollercoaster. She is the character that is always crying and it gets annoying,.
