Would you feel comfortable being served by a restaurant robot?

Nothing can replace the human interaction but the robot is a great help with the staff shortages. The manager of the downtown restaurant said she is just thrilled with the little machine.

Sure, I'd give it a go, but if robots start replacing waiting staff on the regular, I'll stop patronizing those establishments.

Why does every question lead to some sort of nut case commenting on vaccines? Give it up. Listen to the non vaccinated who are now sitting in hospital pleading with people to get vaccinated.

Sal D. The ship has sailed with regards to vaccines, safe and reliable! It's to bad that when the good Lord had people line up to receive brains and intellect, you were asked to hold the door!

Sal D, I personally know two people now who've contracted Covid, one of which had to go to the hospital because of respiratory distress. I know absolutely ZERO people who've not had an adverse reaction to to vaccine beyond a sore arm or headache. Your copy and paste bullshnazz falls of deaf ears with me and a MAJORITY of others. Please STFU!!!

    Where are your Papers? ? ? ?

BC'S population is approx. 5 million, yet BC Total case number is 7,771,314 ? ? ?
How many of all cases represent the Vaccinated?

Dr. Byram Bridle - viral immunologic and vaccine logistics
    - zero benefit to receiving vaccine
    - most of the population has now immunity to the virus
    - covid vaccine are low quality garbage, they do not work
If vaccines work, why can we not travel, still wear masks, physical distance?

Vaccine purpose is to make the recipient immune to pathogen.

    - epidemiological evidence clearly shows that the Pandemic is over and no 2nd wave will follow.

According to Frontline Doctors and Nurses the Vaccinated are being hospitalized.

As a gimmick it could be fun…but wouldn’t want it to the norm.

  • Milke - 3 years ago

At least you don't have to worry about it spitting in your food.

I could see a robot like Robbie being really handy in food courts and fast food restaurants, freeing up what would be minimum wage earners to take on higher paying jobs in nicer restaurants where the human touch is preferred.

  • Elfrieda - 3 years ago

I don’t use self checkout and if I eat out I expect to have the human interaction. People need jobs! Don’t replace them with impersonal robots! Disgusting!!

  • Tony C - 3 years ago

No, and the hits to human interaction, or lack there of, keep on coming!

  • Brett - 3 years ago

    Ask me after the fact.
I’m sure there are lots of folks who’d like to be serviced by a robot
