The actors and the location are perfect got this story. My guess is that Fr.Pruitt IS the thing (vampire maybe?) in the box. I also think that our temporary priest is going to be anything but temporarily. There’s plenty here to hold my attention. I hope it picks up in pace, but I’m confident that it will.
