Franklin County football Player of the Week for Sept. 24
RB Amari Kerr (Shippensburg): 11 rushes for 71 yards and 2 TDs. The rushing attack led the way for the Greyhounds on Friday night, and Kerr was a huge part of that, helping his team pull away.
RB Tavon Cooper (Greencastle-Antrim): 2 TDs. The Blue Devils were shorthanded for much of this one, but Cooper stepped with 18 and 70 yard rushing TDs in the win
QB Jermere Jones (Chambersburg): 249 total yards and 2 total TDs. The Trojans struggled against Central Dauphin, but Jones did what he could, both with his arm and his legs, to get them on the board
QB John Stoner (James Buchanan): The Rockets suffered a blowout loss in this one, but Stoner got into the end zone with some creativity, on a 67 yard reception
DB Blake Orndoff (Shippensburg): 2 INTs. The Greyhound defense was solid all night, creating turnovers, led by Orndoff who had two
