This show has always been my #1 show on tv as I still watch reruns every day…..this show was incredible and the quality of the majority of the actors were phenomenal with Angie Harmon being in my top 2..following Sam Waterston …..you were always pulled into every show the story lines were so believable many applied to our everyday living now…..unfortunately…..finally a QUALITY show to watch….

I am very excited about this! I am disappointed you left off the survey one of my favorites - Leslie Hendrix as Dr Rodgers the M.E. I would love to see some of the other old school characters, but even Rey Curtis would be a 25+ year veteran at this point, so it would be hard to explain why they aren't retired. I also wouldn't mind seeing characters from the other L&O shows like Alexandra Eames or ADA Ron Carver.
My three were Jack McCoy, Abbie Carmichael, and Ed Green. Honorable mention to Mike Logan. I think he was one of the best characters of the entire series. It would be great to see him as Lt. or Capt. to show that he finally managed to succeed in the system he bucked against for so many years.

3 is too few. Except for McCoy and Van Buren, that season 18-20 season cast sucked. I think they should cross over some criminal intent actors into this mix. Goran and Animes would be great additions.

I agree, 3 is too few and too hard to choose.
My choices are Lt. Van Buren (contingency: if Ms. Merkeson chooses not to return, then promote the Mike Logan character),
Connie Rubiosa, who IMO, should become EADA when McCoy became DA,
And, of course, Jack McCoy himself, though I bet the part wasn’t as fun for Sam Waterston when the character became DA.

I do love and I enjoy watching the original Law & Order the best with Michael Minority as Ben Stone. The original lineup on the original Law & Order was the best! This lineup should come back!
But, I didn't see Jill Hennessey as Clair Kincade on the list. I saw other names but, not hers. I would like to see her come back maybe as another character (since she was killed in the car accident, on the show)

It's been 12 years since the last episode. I would expect that all characters from that last season would have been retired or promoted, with the exception of the Captain. Let's get some new characters, with one possible exception via SVU: Peter Stone or Rafael Barba as an ADA (or even a defense attorney).

As long as I get good cases, great interrogations, great dialogue, I'm happy! What I do not want is personal angst, family issues and illnesses among the characters. Just work the cases! I don't need to know who's sleeping with whom or who's drinking excessively, etc. I have my own issues! All I care about are the "police who investigate crime and the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders!"

Bring back as many as possible and it's seriously time for a Wolfverse mega crossover. They could have Lupo and Rubirosa have entered witness protection and gone to Quantico to explain that one, kill Goodwin off Chicago Med and that would let them bring Van Buren back or even make them twin sisters the actress is talented enough to handle a dual role. Then down the road do another mega crossover with the Bruckheimer universe since CSI: Vegas is coming back.

The heart of the show would be Sam Waterson as DA Jack Mc Coy, that would be a no brainers to bring back. Though it would be wonderful to bring back Michael Moriarty as DA Ben Stone but they wrote his character off in an episode of Law N Order SVU. Borgia was brutally murdered, as well as Mc Greevey and Orbach past away in real life. Maybe bring back Philip Winchester as Ben Stone's son... Jeremy Sisto definitely as lead detective but is happy on his own Dick Wolf Spin off ...

Of course we need Sam Waterston. He and Jerry Orbach were the show’s heart and soul. Personally, I’d love to see Jill Hennessy return. She’s not too busy right now, right? I’d love for Jesse L. Martin & Anthony Anderson to be detectives together, but they both have other commitments so I’ll have to hold off on that dream team.
For cops, I’m not entirely sure who I’d go with. Benjamin Bratt is a good choice. I wouldn’t mind seeing some new blood in the detective department. We need a couple of female detectives, since OG L&O’s squad room has skewed heavily male.

Grace & Frankie ending. There's too many good ones to narrow it down to just 3, but I did. My top 2 is Waterston & Martin. My #3, would be about 6 of the other ones listed...lol. Like I said, too many great ones! I miss so much, seeing Sam O., his passing left a huge whole in many entertainment areas, but mostly in Law & Order.
