Loved this series So true to life for so many people. Relateable. The acting is excellent. Too bad this series is not continuing.

So many real life issues to unpack. Excellent acting.

The acting was superb. It evoked emotions from both ends of the spectrum and everything in between. I was compelled to feel for each character in their individual plight and the plot kept me wanting to move on to the next episode. Very well done. I think there should be some awards in the future of this limited series and hope to see more like this in the near future.
    Well done.

I like this series and a lot of things that Alex did to get by I could relate to but I do believe that Alex did not support Sean the way she should have and when he was really trying she didn’t support him and she is more concerned with her problems as a child and doesn’t see Sean’s struggle as well and I just think she could’ve done better she seemed very selfish and self righteous. There was no forgiveness when it came to her father. However, she forgave her mother.

In the memoir there was very little help- nothing she could really count on…

there was no anika nonnie rose (may have spell her name wrong)to help her !!!

Maddys father more sympathetic then in book—

Well acted but some of her moms role a little over the top ….
