One of the saddest things I've watched in a show, besides when George and Lexi died on Grey's Anatomy! What a beautiful heart wrenching ending to their story.

I Love the show! I adore Matt. He such a good actor, and so secy...
I'm going to miss Emily. The two of them together were magic.. I cried
like a little baby watching the show. It was preformed so beautifully, with
style and grace. I'm Anxiously awaiting to see what happens next and how
Conrad will go on by himself without the Mother of his child. I'm going to
assume the only thing that will keep him going is his Love for his daughter.

Could not stop crying.. saw raw emotions from Conrad and I felt it. I will miss her .. being a nurse, I could relate to her and how her patients were important to her. I hope the show will use flashbacks to keep her memory alive and maybe create unseen flashbacks..

Cried nonstop. Episode was beautifully written. Czuchry deserves an Emmy nomination for his performance. He definitely did next level stuff. Looking forward to next week.

Never wanted to see Nic leave Chastine like this. To be able to show the effects of traumatic brain injury this was fantastic. To be able to show what's involved in determining brain activity this was fantastic and emotional. Good luck to Nic and her new family I wish her well and after she's raised her children I pray that she will be able to return to the screen and show her talents again.

She is a good actor. Sad to see her leave the show. Respectfully, her reasons are understandable. Family comes first. I wish her well in her future journey. May she be blessed with abundance joy from her little one and may her life be filled with everlasting love. She is truly an amazing actor. She will most definitely be missed on the show.

I was devastated that Nic actually passed away. I was waiting for her to miraculously survive. It was beautifully done and heartbreaking at the same time. I felt like I was there. The episode was amazing.

As a nurse myself, it was such a fitting end to a beloved character. I respect the actress for wanting to focus on her family. The acting and writing was superb. I have always listed myself as an organ donor and encourage everyone to do so. Bravo to everyone involved in this episode. So beautifully done. To juxtapose the plot against an older long term couple with Nic’s death saving him was brilliant. It was the best exit of a character I have ever watched. Thank you.

It was very sad but having worked trauma and ICU as an RT it was very well done and pretty true to life. I can understand Emily Van Camp wanting to spend time with her own child, so it was definitely the right thing to do and didn't keep her character hanging on indefinitely hoping she would want to come back someday, if she never did, and then having her die some ignominious death in a care facility somewhere. And it was a great way to help people understand how many people could be helped by organ donation. It truly is the gift of life for many.

This episode had me bawling. Was written beautifully and directed beautifully. The acting was beyond superb. I loved Conrad and Nic as a couple. It's sad that she has left the show but the send off was beautiful. The moments off the flashback scenes were touching and I will continue to watch.

I I am very saddened by the direction the show has taken. I love this couple and with the new baby it seemed like such a happy situation. I mostly watch the show for the medical aspects and the cases and patients they treat but of course you can’t help but love a lot of the characters. That being said, it was one of the most beautifully done shows I have ever seen. The grieving husband was as real as life and the way she was reverently wheeled out of the hospital was so touching. Also, the transport of her life saving organs was very inspirational.

I cried my eyes out! Incredibly sad. Written very well, but I can’t imagine Conrad without Nic. Love the show & hope it continues for a long, long time!

Excellent show. I was in tears. Very well written. I’m happy that it’s a fictional show and the actress is really alive!

  • Rosanna - 3 years ago

Absolutely gut wrenching. Never sobbed for a TV show before until tonight. Beautiful promotion for organ donation. Looking forward to seeing how the writers deal with Congrad's grief.
    Bravo.

I started crying 10.into it. I felt screwed! After getting thru the horrors of Covid, waiting forever for the new season, and finally the goodness of Nic, Conrad, and a new baby… then what do you show writers do …. Kill of (like no chance of return) our favorite character! She pregnant… actress get pregnant and with the wonders of film making for years now they been shooting around it… even with Lucille Ball! Why not leave Nic in bed in induced Coma with broken legs in slings to hid her tummy…. WHY KILL HER OFF! You called in the Organ collector…. I think I’ll let them collect my DVR recording setting! We’re Fans and we deserve alittle happiness and a helicopter flying off at the end with the last of Nic’s organs didn’t make me feel any better as I blubber all the way to the bathroom to blow my nose again! Boo Writers snd Show Runner????‼️

That was by far the absolute best farewell tribute to a deserving character that I’ve ever seen. Also the most emotional hour of tv that I have ever watched.

What a touching, emotional hour, in the loss of Nic Nevins. She was given a beautiful exit to her character and it couldn’t have been better, in my opinion. Everyone she touched was included and the emotions everyone showed were fitting. A loving tribute to an excellent character and kudos to Matt Czuchry as the grieving husband. The entire episode seemed so real.

I hated seeing Nuc leave the show, it was a very EMOTIONAL episode. Cried like a baby, watching them take her through her coworkers was emotional.

  • Cathy - 3 years ago

I just couldn’t watch. I love her as a mother and them as a couple. This breaks my heart for all this perfect little family. Don’t know if I can tune back in.

Very disappointed with the end of Nic’s character on The Resident. Conrad and Nic are two of my favorite characters.however it was a very emotional end an I balled like a big baby pulled at all of the emotions of finalizing her character. An awesome tribute as an organ donor an a final walk of farewell by her coworkers. ????

  • Mollie - 3 years ago

Perhaps the best episode of a character dying and leaving a show I’ve ever seen. Walking her down the hallway with her coworkers lined up to see her go was the ultimate heartbreaker. Since losing my husband not too long ago it pulled on all the heart strings. Excellent work

BROKE MY HEART. I’ve never cried like that from a tv show. I can’t imagine Conrad without Nik.
