He won't do a true routine, but he'll do some one-liners here or there, ad-libbed to give the people a quick laugh.

Chappelle's definitely shown in the past that he can drop something when he's done with it. Problem is, I don't know if he's truly "done with it" yet. Like yall have been saying, this was a response to Twitter and Twitter is obviously stuck in his head.

Chapelle probably won't touch on the trans jokes for a while - mostly because its a dead horse at this point. Maybe he'll get back to, I don't know, being actually funny. I only laughed at about half the bits in this last special. It seemed cringe and meandering.
Why not? The public is practically tripping over each other letting us know he’s a comedian and that’s what they do. He honestly believes what he says and has a gaggle of people who think he’s a genius. I am not people. I am a proud parent of a trans man.
I feel like he'll do more of those joke when he needs to promote something or capitalize on the controversy.
