What are your thoughts on paternity leave for new fathers?
Like new mothers, new fathers need to be able to take time off work to raise their newborn. Parental leave should be guaranteed by the government.

I support paternity leave, but I think it should be up to employers to give it to their employees, as opposed to having a taxpayer-funded program.

I don't see any reason why fathers need to take time off work to take care of a newborn - they can't provide the same care to a child that a mother can.

Paternity leave should only be allowed (by the government) when it comes to extreme circumstances, like a sick child or if the mother needs medical care after giving birth.
