Red tide: I liked it. A bit predictable as I immediately had the wife pegged for her ending.

Death Valley: it has a recipe for success but the modern world felt a lot like AHS 1984. Personally, I thought the intro to the characters reunion was forced and purposely obscene. It lacked the feel of the earlier series.

I strongly recommend that the next season work to establish their characters with a longer story arch, stick to the gore and psychological suspense, and ease off the forced raunch. Give us a series that can build overlapping characters for a climactic season a few years from now.

I was so disappointed because I didn't realize the last episode was the finale. I thought since there were 6 episodes in the first half, there was probably going to be 6 in the second of the double feature. Why do 6 and 4? I was excited to see another episode right before Halloween to realize it was over :(. I loved both concepts for the double feature but don't understand why they didn't just separate into 2 different seasons

Well I just finished watching death Valley and the ending was so bad I thought it was going to have another episode to wrap things up but I just found out that that was the last episode. The second half was the worst of any of the franchise series. The Asylum season two is my favorite and this second half of season 10 was my least favorite. Love Leslie Grossman she did an excellent job and outshine everyone in the first half of red tide.

Finally a site showing honest varied & heated reviews. I've enjoyed reading all the different reviews from true blue AHS fans. The emotion (Good & bad) absolutely mirrors my own.
Unfortunately I was getting 2 the point of imploding waiting I started watching & reading people's opinions wots gonna happen, wots no gonna happen & for the 1st I sat bak 2 watch the 1st episode with all sorts of expectations, waiting wen this was gonna happen instead of doin my usual routine b4 a seasons redy 2 cum out which is wait 4 the trailer watch & then wait with no preconceptions or anything.
But hey wot did I think well in a word 'Differant'. I was stumped tho as I thought at least they'd of connect the 2 together in sum way. It was so full of true accounts happening at the same time as the show. Mekin ya wonder even 4 a second like "mmm I wonder" which I loved. The only thing I can think of tho about how unconnected the 2 shows were. How it did end & how they'll absolutely be a follow up...they have 2 or the fanbase alone wound fall overnight, the onky outcone a true can think is the next season will follow str8 on connectin the 2 together plus the 2 were set in totally different decades yet ending not only in the decade but in the same year & if imbot mistake by in the same state!

I loved it, it was so funny. Everyone I knew couldn't wait to see the next episode. Gays having alien babys. JFK Marilyn Nixon and Mamie! And I knew that moon landing was faked! LOVED IT, THANK YOU FOR A GREAT SHOW.

AHS has ruined the reputation of Commander Valiant Thor. He was allegedly a real alien who met with Eisenhower, but he was only trying to help Earth. He was not a robot. He was made of flesh.

I'm a huge fan but this was just such a stupid idea. Obviously they will say COVID interfered with the show but how many times can you use this excuse. Like so many I also was under the impression it was tied into each other but that was just so we could watch till the end I guess!!! Horrible horrible horrible!!!!
Even the spin-off of American Horror Stories was better than this garbage!

In one word HORRIBLE. The story line interesting. The characters interesting. The ending bad. Wonder if the network ran out of money or ideas.

  • Donna - 2 years ago

I barely made it through Red Tide, then Death Valley seemed like it had potential, boy, was I wrong! That ending.. HORRIBLE!
I may be done with AHS for good. I didn't think it could get worse than 1984 but yet here we are.

"The Day the Earth Stood Still" theme with the apocalyptic ending for humanity is theoretically possible. Will a highly advanced extraterrestrial race of superbeings intervene before humanity inevitably renders Earth a water-less, lifeless rock-the Sister of it's moon? Were I an incorporeal being of pure energy, I myself might conclude human beings are a failed primeval experiment worthy of extermination. It required four billion years to make this planet a terrarium for corporeal beings. In that equation, humans clearly exist within the rectum of this living system. We are it's deadly pathogenic microbes.

The evolution of AHS may very well be done if this alien mishmash is the best they can do.

  • James Johnson - 2 years ago

    10 seasons.
    8 good ones.
    1 schlocky one (1984).
1 failure = Death Valley (nothing else comes close).

Most seasons have been good, but this was not. "Red Tide" was promising, but "Death Valley" was empty and utterly underwhelming. The two halves had nothing to do with each other. Where was the proposed tie-in? Very disappointing for a two-year wait (perhaps the Death Valley writers should've taken a black pill).

  • Christy Slone - 2 years ago

I wouldn't put it pass the Government/Area 51 to shut the "death valley" just because it was so close to the real story of area 51

  • Jo - 2 years ago

I thought both parts were supposed to merge together somehow. Sorry...I don't get what they had to do with each other.

  • Dennis - 2 years ago

AHS needs to fire the writers. You can do better as seasons 1 - 4 prove but somewhere along the way the creativity died. Every season seems like you struggle to come up with the story line. Hire some professional writers and I am sure you will bounce back better than ever.

  • Jackie - 2 years ago

How in the fuck was Red Tide connected to this? Whoever allowed this to air should lose their job. I feel lied to with all the hype that they did in advertising for this season. Especially how they kept pushing how they both connected in some way. I hope they just end the series now.

  • Lj - 2 years ago

Dumbest show ever. I taped the finale but don't care to watch it. Lame, boring, nonsensical storyline. ???? ???? ????

  • Laura - 2 years ago

The absolute worst. The first 4 episodes were great. The rest were total trash. In typical ahs fashion, starts off great and by episode 5, it's awful.

  • Jinny - 2 years ago

Thought the season was good overall but was very disappointed in the end, it was obvious but the thing I had hoped for from the initial hype of the show and the adds etc never came to fruition. We were given the impression all along that part one and part two were connected? Well if they were I missed that ! I had hoped to see that when it was mentioned that the baby would be born in 2021 and when we saw adds of aliens emerging from the ocean, I felt duped. Very disappointed , think it could have been better developed and was a waste of great actors.

  • Phil - 2 years ago

Best series so far. Crappy ending. Had to google it to make sure it was, in fact, the finale.
Looking forward to the next one.

  • stacey P - 2 years ago

Just loved death valley the second part of the season was far better than red tide, although it was brilliant to see McCauley K back on the screen! the historical black and white sections of death valley where brilliantly thought out and conveyed multiple conspiracy theories as though they were facts with excellence! this is why we love AHS. Sarah Poulson fanstatic as ever, but the ending of s10 did leave alot to be desired !

  • Lexy - 2 years ago

I am really disappointed. At the end I was like ???? maybe there's a 2 part finale? Great season horrible finale.

  • Kim - 2 years ago

Great segment, worst ending. Was glued to these episodes. Kennedy, Marilyn, LBJ, Nixon, Ike, Mamie, the war & Kissinger was perfect ! Wasn't disappointed that the aliens come out ahead, but the ending was just a non ending flop. Talked a non horror friend into watching, she was hooked too. Until the ending. Then she was so pissed off, and I felt so bad for wasting her time !

  • Ylla Johnson - 2 years ago

This honestly was no finale. Just appeared to be like an end to an episode. So do they intend on picking this back up where they left off next season? If not it’s the worst writing ever

  • Colleen McAllister - 2 years ago

This was a great episode- and one of the worst finales ever. There needs to be more episodes as this was a simple cliffhanger. Where is the rest of the story? Wrap up something anyway.

  • Watuzi - 2 years ago

This was the worse AHS season. It needs to stop. No Mas, no Mas. It was so bad that I thought there was a more satisfying end after the last commercial break. Sapranos- GoT- Dexter, now AHS top the list of terrible finales. AHS JUST STOP

  • Robert S. - 2 years ago

Just wow! I cant believe that i waited 2 yrs for the show to return and this is the best they could do. The first half was actually pretty good up until they ended it way too soon and gave us this idiotic 2nd half. I honest to God think that Ryan Murphy must want this show to end regardless if its been renewed. I was disappointed to not see Evan Peters in the 2nd half but after watching it I wouldn't want my name attached to that garbage either. The Walking Dead used to be a good show too until it started getting really stupid after around the 7th season and I stopped watching. If this is the best that you guys can put out please just let the show die with some dignity.

  • Mitch - 2 years ago

No words can describe this awful script. Please cancel Seasons 12 and 13. It’s over.

  • jake - 2 years ago

who in the f**k rated this an A ? are you insane this was the absolute worst garbage since batwoman aired jeeeez

  • Rob - 2 years ago

I was hoping a good finale at the end. Yes I quite agree with the other comments here. Fail...however the first part of this season was interesting. Aliens and conspiracy..meh. I just wish there was one more episode and that would have had some type of conclusion. D+. Sorry.

  • Tammy Epes - 2 years ago

I’ve hung in all season for THIS!!?? God-FUCKING-awful.

  • Cheyenne - 2 years ago

I do not have enough adjectives to describe how dreadful that finale was.

  • Patrick - 2 years ago

It really didn’t have to end so unexplained as what happens with the American race so we never ever ever finding out if we as Americans human citizens figure out their plots and schemes and fight just half robot ???? head and human body just keep on producing until our planet is filled out with ???? aliens wow weak

  • Lin - 2 years ago

It was the worst AHS ending EVER! Too abrupt and unsatisfying. It also had nothing to do with the 1st story of the "Double Feature". It's likecthe writer didn't know how to end it so he didn't.
