I would've voted Dany Villarreal from The Warning. They released a new album, albeit a 6 song EP, with some earworm riffs and jams and a few great but not overcomplicated solos...very Nirvanaesque. Honestly seems unfair to put living legends like Santana, Bonamassa, Cantrell, etc with small timers like Emily Wolfe, who I voted for because she also put out a new signature guitar with Epiphone that is one of my dream guitars
