What are your thoughts on Kyle Rittenhouse, who shot three (and killed two) people last year during the Kenosha riots over police violence?
Rittenhouse crossed state lines with a weapon he wasn't allowed to have (since he was a minor). It's clear he was looking for trouble — and he found some. He's clearly guilty of intentional homicide.
Rittenhouse's "victims" obviously instigated the whole thing by pursuing and attacking him. Rittenhouse only acted in self-defense.
While I don't think Rittenhouse intentionally killed these people, it's clear he was somewhere he wasn't supposed to be, and two people are dead because of it. There needs to be a middle ground between intentional homicide and self-defense.
This is not an issue I care about.
