Supergirl should NOT have revealed her secret identity or "come out" as I believe it was a metaphor for. Dumb and ruined the whole series. Since Cat Grant knew, would have made it easier for Supergirl to do both jobs. Very disappointing. Guess I won't miss it as much as I thought I would.
The Nyxly/Lex issue was resolved way too quickly. Guess they needed the time to focus on the wedding.

I liked most of it but overall it was lacking in several parts. I loved the cameos and the sit down with the OG Super Friends but it felt incomplete.
Like Mon-El just gives another vague excuse as to why he won’t come back to the present, and Lex and Nyxly being trapped in the phantom zone with no answer as to what their overall fate is.
I hated when Kara revealed her identity to the world at the end as it kind of defeats the point of having a secret identity. Like you need to keep your identity a secret because if you don’t then villains will target the ones you love. Like Oliver’s villains did when his was revealed. Like Kara may be bulletproof but Alex, Esme and her mom aren’t.
I just believe she could combine to two personas without actually revealing her identity. Like you don’t see Barry having issues with the two separate identities. I think they only did that because Clark revealed his identity in the comics so their trying to keep up by doing similar events.
Identity Crisis aside, I did like how impactful they made Williams’s funeral. He may have started out as the “Replacement Love Interest”, but his character evolved so much over the past few seasons and made him a much more enjoyable character. I loved his interactions with Esme and it was honestly sad to see him die.
Minor Detail- I laughed every-time Winn just nonchalantly spoiled the future. He really likes to tease the rest of the team. Definitely missed seeing him as a season regular but I’m glad he could rejoin the group for the series finale.

Mixed bag -- Cat Grant was fabulous, the overall plot seemed like it could have been written by third graders -- Cryer was a fantastic Lex -- I was very, VERY disappointed in Mon-El's tiny part, I had hoped for much more, apparently we have some insecure people here.

I had hoped she would go to Argo. It was good but ended much too quickly. Especially the battle.
And what of Lex and Nyxly? Will they simply hate each other in the phantom zone?

Not sure how to feel about the ending. It could have been better, but it could have been worse as well. Kara and Lena not ending up together is just not right. They were/are perfect for each other and we've seen their relationship blossom into something beautiful over the last seasons. But besides that I loved the Dansen Wedding and that Lena and her mother made up. It was also great that Cat was brought back into the show and that she was the person that revealed Kara as Supergirl to the world.
But the biggest question that is left unanswered for me is: How is it possible that different versions of the finale aired on the CW and Showcase and possibly different versions on different continents as well. HOW THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN???

I was disappointed that she would never be able to see Mon El again, but I guess that was one thing in her life left unresolved. They tried to make William a romantic replacement, but he was never going to be a strong enough character or for the two actors to have enough chemistry after Mon El to make it believable. Especially since Melissa married the actor that played him. Not sure she could pull off having that kind of chemistry with anyone else in this show with Mon El having so much influence on her character.
