I just love the show and took the opportunity to look at the past seasons as I only started watching it a year ago so I had a lot to catch up on. The characters are great and one just gets to love them all and their quirks make them so lovely and normal. One also appreciates health care today is so much safer than it was then as I grew up in the 40's and remember going down to the druggist on the corner to get my sore throat swabbed with iodine! He was sort of the local go to rather than the doctor for minor emergencies and as we did not have a phone, he was kind enough to allow us to use his when we rarely needed to do so. i grew up in Brooklyn, but things were still relatable to the English story. I hope this series goes on forever!!!

My dear sister turned me on to watching this program many years ago, it was our special time every Sunday night together watching it. She passed away very suddenly last year and I miss her dearly, yet every time I watch alone it brings me comfort knowing it was our special time together, she meant the world to me. Thanks for creating such a good show that takes me back to a very special time in my life with my sister.
