The finale for season 4 was a disappointment. It did not allow the women a respectful conclusion to all the energy they put into the show. I don't feel good watching reruns knowing how the series doesn't end.

It was a good episode but not for a finale. Too many loose ends! Fans deserve a real ending! As others have said, crap “reality” shows go on forever but a show people enjoyed, a show that truly entertained and occasionally enlightened the viewer is canceled? I give up on tv. Driving me back to books!

Ridiculous ending. They did the same thing with The Glades. Tell me how the Kardashians can get decades of a show and great shows like this are killed in their prime. As many have noticed, the show could be picked up by others (hello Netflix! You did it for Lucifer how about Frankie?).

I was very disappointed that they left us hanging with the story lines that seemed like they were going to be continued in future episodes. I have enjoyed the show and would very much like to see it return -- somewhere.

I really enjoy the show. Disappointed that they left it a cliffhanger when they were not going to renew for a fifth season. It isn’t fair to the audience. Perhaps they will do a fifth season or TV movie but the loose ends need to be resolved.

I give the series "finale" a D. The episode was intended as a cliff-hanging SEASON ending. The comradery of the cast was some of the best I've seen. Maybe another station could revive it. Or do some Frankie Drake Mysteries movies.

Frankie Drake was one of the best Detective Shows of all times. I'm really disappointed that they will not be coming back for another go. The characters are outstanding . This was my go to Detective show every weekday. I'm going to miss Frankie and the Girl's solve their cases.

I absolutely love this show, I found it on Prime this week and bindged it! Season 4 was a little off for me, I agree with the other comments, the girls should have better finale. I'm left hanging and wondering what will happen. I wish the writers would have done better for all the fans!

Once again a series with all strong woman as main characters is canceled and not even in a good way. If networks decide to cancel a series they should at least do it in a decent way by not leaving the viewers hanging and the cast wondering what is next.

I LOVED the Frankie drake series but the last episode in season finale was the pitts! Usually if a show is ending they tie up all loose ends. This show ended as if there would be a “wait to see what happens in season 5!” But there is no more. So all the characters were left hanging. Trudy and the gunshot was the worst! What a shame!

I had to go online to find out how it ended because my DVR cut off just as gun was pointed at Trudy. I’m disappointed the series wasn’t renewed. The female characters are great role models in any time period, but especially entertaining because nothing else like this on television right now. It seems there could have been ample material to explore another full season or even two of very creative and original episodes. The costumes were quite well done too. I will really miss this light hearted mystery set in fictional history.

Honestly I think you should have done a better finale, you left it with everyone not knowing if Mary is going to have a better life after doing a right thing by letting the whole world know about the corrupt cops and if Trudy is dead or alive and if Frankie is okay and how flofilz I think you should have done another episode a Frankie Drake Mysteries or at least do a movie to let everyone know on what's going on

Disappointed with Season 4 as a whole but final episode the pitts. Ned needed to stay dead as he supposedly died trying to save a young boy. Now he’s just a thief who deserted his daughter.
Thèse 4 women Frankie, Trudy, Mary and Flo deserved a better send off.

WHY was Frankie Drake Mysteries cancelled when to me there were more storylines to delve into. Such a fantastic show about empowered women AND an exciting time in Toronto's history. For me the finale had me asking MORE questions. Very disappointed.

If there is to be a follow up, the finale was great. If not, it was crap. I really like the show but hate being left with no closure for the characters. It seems fairly obvious that the next story is already written and it would make sense to finish the series with a more reasonable ending. Who wants to read a book with the last chapter torn out?

It appears this finale was written before they decided to not move to season five. This is a great show and I look forward to it weekly. Leaving fans hanging is really not good. We need another season or at least a few episodes to wrap up the story

I really grown to love this series. I liked the finale but very upset to hear that the series is under consideration for cancellation. Please reconsider CBC. The characters are fun the plots a little hokey but overall a pleasurable show. Please continue this series. Don’t let the loyal audience dangle.
