Well first season I have watched nd now I know why. The world is full of people stepping on others to get ahead. This game is meant to reward people for lying and backstabbing. Xander was the only person that displayed any integrity and compassion. The fact that he didn’t receive one vote when his tribe was there as long as they were because of him. He was willing to give up an advantage to a team player that was not worth saving since she was trying to get rid of him, yet still accepted the gift. Then the fact that the jury is full of the bitter people that lost. The jury of the closed minded. It should be a woman to win. It should be a person of color that wins. When a game rewards such bad human behavior I suppose we should not expect a fair outcome. The minister was such an evil, back stabbing, person I have no idea how she goes back to lead people in faith. She showed nothing of any religious teachings I have read or studied about any religion. This person I am shocked has not been in the news yet such as In Waco or serving kool-aid like Jim Jones. I would say she should be ashamed but I am sure she doesn’t. Xander should have won for he played with true human compassion. Shame to all who sat on that jury with their knives placed in Xander’s back.

I concur with the vast majority of individuals on this board who saw what I saw- a reverse racism.
Xander lost because he was white, pure and simple.
The jury had made their mind up even before asking questions.
His game was far better, far more strategic and he found 2 immunity idols to boot!
She coasted for most of the game.
That's not a strategy, that's people taking you along because you are a weak player and they feel they could beat you in the end.
A final 5 advantage of having that much of a lead because you stumbled upon a piece of paper?, How stupid to have that so late in the game.
This season's finale was an empty experience.
I have watched practically every season since the beginning and have never felt that the person who should have won, lost because of the color of his skin.

I thought Xander played the best game. He was a target from the beginning. But he managed to stay in it until the end. He was the victim of politics and lost because he was a straight, white man. It would have been nice to see a young person win. Erica skated and was not very nice. Then there was the all black alliance. I was glad to see diversity, but thought it was taken too far and Xander was punished for being white. I never missed a season of Survivor, but this was awful. If it's going to be a fight between people of color and white people and the LGBTQ community, I support both, but think it needs to be left out of the actual game. It was never about politics before. Xander was railroaded.

What a waste of time to watch. Erika won? You have got to be kidding. She pretty much skated through it all and lucked out with the game changer at exile island. Next season, I hope the producers really think about the casting. Bring in more likable players.

I’m sure editing has everything to do with it, but Xander was my favorite FROM THE BEGINNING! He found the advantage fair and square. I didn’t see him betraying anyone. The fact that he had 3 of his original tribe not voting for him is just wrong. The fact that DeShawn, Heather & Erika were all from the original (winning) tribe speaks to how Xander really had a great game to get him to the final 3. He did well in competitions & challenges. Hard for him to make “allies” when his original tribe was going for an “all female” tribe..... then he merges with people that have already made alliances—-I just don’t see how Xander’s game play was less than Erika who “lucked” out by going to Exile island and smashing the hour glass...that was the dumbest jury ever. So disappointing. So wrong. But hey. That’s the way it goes.

Xander got screwed out of the money. The jury just didn't like him and that shouldn't be right not to vote someone that deserves it just cause they don't like you. I will have to think before I watch next season if I want to or not because this time wasn't FAIR

I feel like Zander was completely ripped off. I have never missed a season of survivor but I don’t ever want to watch another one. The cast that voted for Erica were a bunch of sore losers who forgot that “outwit, outlast and outplay “ were the very essence of zanders game. I wanted to cry just watching him have to sit there and pretend it was alright. To Ricard….shame on you. You thought you should have won but you stuck it to your friend in the end. Just like you did to your alliance. Someone has to do something for Zander. This is beyond unfair.

I felt like the entire episode was a huge waste of time after Erika was announced as the winner. My vote was for Xander. Additionally, making them go to an entirely new camp served no purpose in the game other than to beat them down even further.

Hard to believe Zander didn’t win, but after all the conversations bout race, and then about the lack of women winning, it’s no surprise the jury chose a weak, woman who was on the bottom half of the game and nearly voted out several times. Zander did more at camp, carried his crappy first tribe, and then was in almost every discussion about who to remove…he should have never taken Erika to tribal counsel…she couldn’t make fire…but since he wasn’t black he still wouldn’t have gotten a vote. Not sure I will watch again, like most of America, Survivor is “woke” and white people are penalized for being successful….

I’m not surprised that so many people here were disappointed that the young, good-looking white boy didn’t win. I knew from the moment Erika did the turn back time thing, that she has a good chance to win. Erika won just as many individual immunity idols as Xander, but she only got one advantage (Xander had 2), no hidden immunity idols (Xander had 2 to save him, even if he didn’t need the second one), and Erika orchestrated just as many blindsides as Xander. Seems to me, she was more entitled to win than Xander!

I feel that Xander was deserving of at least one vote ! I was hoping he would have won for how well he had fought to make it to the end of the game and for being so young he showed so much perseverance he was a true underdog and he can actually look back watch the show be proud of how well he played !
The majority of jury are the most disgruntled people I’ve ever seen at one time and so bitter ! This maybe why Xander did not get one vote

Dude carried his tribe of spiteful women that hated him for no reason until the merge, then fought to win immunity challenges and keep his idol until the end. Erika was on the bottom and not even in the game until she was gifted the flip on the island, otherwise she would have been voted out. Sheer luck. I can't believe the DeShawn vote and the racist all blacks alliance that was allied this season. Imagine if all the white players joined together and said "let's stay together because we're all white." The show would have never made it to broadcast. I've been watching for over 20 years, and this was the worst season, IMO.

I wish that the final 3 could get a final chance to plea their case and explain why they felt they should win. when they are only allowed to answer specific questions, I think the jury misses a lot for their decision making. Xander for example had a lot on his resume but wasn’t asked many questions. it seems like the jury only asks questions to the one they want to see win

Xander played the best game. I think the voting process needs a bit of a tweak. Not sure how to do it fair, or what that entails, that’s for others to determine. I think something’s need to be weighed a little heavier when deciding. Xander didn’t even have a vote for like 5+ tribals. He was a big target. It’s survivor and some survive weekly more than others( at tribals). Erika did better at the end,when there were less people to compete against, and her odds of shining went up. She wasn’t playing that great for a while. But she did eventually pick up her game. I think second place was what she deserved. But one thing is for sure, Xander was not the worst of the 3 in any facet of his game.
The writing was on the wall when, before any questions were asked, the jury seemed to have already decided. Praising Erika while hitting Xander with question after question. Hammering him over and over. In a season full of people being woke, and the show trying it’s hardest to show every woke moment, or to create one when one wasn’t presented, the vote also seemed more woke than deserving.

I see the consensus is Xander should have won...agreed. Erika played the game with a partner...Heather. Xander depended only on himself. Shan was appalling how cut throat she was and here she is a pastor...needs to look at her faith again. Who exactly would vote for DeShawn? Like the guy but he did nothing for the game. I was disappointed that even in a game...racism has to be part of it...why? Shouldn't the theme had been ALL of us together and NOT seeing color, gender, age? Shame on the Pastor for not promoting THAT theme more instead of the racism. Congrats to Xander, Erica, DeShawn and Heather for making final 4. ???????? ☮ Blessings.

In the end was it a cuteness competition? One loyal deshawn voter? That should not make him 2nd! The plan/ rules need a rework there.
