Intriguing...had me questioning things of that time period...
Hate the foul language, would be so much better without it. I was hoping it wouldn't be so prevalent in 1883...

A bit confused by the beginning, but I held on and enjoyed the ride. Could do without the F bombs, doesn’t fit in with the time period. I prefer historical correct fiction for the most part, but since it came out of Sam Elliot’s mouth, I’m willing to overlook the infraction. Lol

Complicated and kind of lame. Jumps around too much and I have no idea who these people are supposed to be. Have seen so many previews I almost don't need to watch it

Someone enlighten me as to the first scene...if we're seeing a future event...what's the purpose...just for spoilers' sake?

It was great working beside these great actors. This show will be an Epic

I enjoyed episode one, was confused about Elsa to start with, but get it now. It still stands, your not going to make everyone happy. Someone always will have negative comments.

Sam Elliott as per usual is outstanding and carries the entire first two episodes. Faith Hill's character is portrayed as a straggled haired messy looking woman compared to even the prostitutes lined up on the street. In real 1883 a woman appearing looking like this would be considered 'touched in the head' or 'plum loco'. Her acting is also severely lacking. So far reminds of a remake of Deadwood with so many unnecessary F-bombs which btw were not even used in 1800's.

Slow, don't care for the voice over as it is drab, I love Sam Elliot, but that sobbing was so uncharacteristic of men back then, and also of him. I don't think this role suits him because he is so much older now, he doesn't emit that tough guy personality this series needs. Tim McGraw was great, Faith Hill...forced acting, not believable. Such drama with the daughter...overall I was disappointed a lot. I had really been excited about this...it was a let down. Yellowstone cowboys and life were so much more authentic and believable than this. Something was off all the way around starting with that voice over...made it too sappy.

I think it is going to be one of those slow burn shows. It was very well done. Acting is good. Who can't beat Sam Elliott!! The first episode was OK just getting to know who and what was going on. But the second episode snagged me even more. Can't wait to see how it all develops into Yellowstone!!

Boring, this has all been done before. Sam Elliott can't even save this. In reality by 1883 the West was already won. Faith Hill still can't act.

Turned it off as Sam was looking through the pioneers' belongings. Didn't hold my attention, and once again, enough with the F bombs. Write a decent dialog that stands on its own without the foul language... If you can.
