I and most the people i know work all year long. These guys get paid to play football 17 weeks out of the year. It is not a question of retooling. it is about getting the performance out of the people we are paying to play. Which was not good. My question is, why would you hire an offensive coodinator off a team in our division and some one we have to play twice. Carol needs to go old school and start kicking some tail in practice. Feed me i am Hungry.

OL/DL need major attention. OL top priority. No point in spending $$ on the back end if the trenches are a shambles. Need an RB that is healthy/durable, need quality OL. LB is a strength, need edge rushers and CBs (but as I said, if the front isn't solid, no point in spending $$ on the back end). Trading RW is the dumbest move anyone could make unless its a Herschel Walker package, and no one out there is that dumb anymore.

Keep Scheneider, but fire Pete and the coordinators, and don’t give the next HC so much power. They’re not Bill.

We need a new coach and keep Wilson and restructure the team and a new oc,and dc

None of the choices fit my scenario. I say fire Pete. Keep JC at least one more off season to see if he can hit on some big moves/picks with the new head coach. Keep Russ one more year because of the cap hit. Build the best O line you can with the money available. If you get the right offer for Russ then maybe do that as long as it builds the best O line possible. Any QB and any RBs will succeed behing that O line. Spend the rest on the D with what is left. So:
    PC goes now
Keep JC and Russ unless we get a great trade offer for him
    Build all pro O line
    Spend rest on D

No respect for Wilson who last year demeaned his Oline in public. Keep it in the locker room. He needs to worry about throwing the ball away to avoid sacks. Also, front office has to address Oline lack of protection but too much money invested in too few players way too limiting to address. Unfortunate situation so I say trade Wilson for what you can get as he no longer able to make deep pass throws and has lost respect of team due to his I and me attitude.

Lastly, why fire Schott last year when the offense put up most points in franchise history?
