The hire MUST incorporate three things. One, The person must have logged excessive time coaching (with winning organizations.) Two, Trevor Lawrence must be completely satisfied and jubilant with whoever is hired. Three, The person Must be composed poised and even tempered so they can lead the team out of the disarray they're in. leftwich is a good young coach who played for the jags, I can understand why people like him. I don't think he should take this job for his first head coaching position though. But a guy like Eric Bieniemy who has spent years with a team that has drafted and developed players, along with developing successful game plans, week after week, year after year. That experience and his calm positive demeanor would allow him to get things rolling (smoothly) in the right.

    J. Hackett has shown the ability t go into a disaster of situation in coaching and in a brief period of time turn it around into a prized gem that others try to copy. Hackett should be able to get all involved on the same page in being a very competitive football team, even challenging for top spots and playoff championships.

Why would Jacksonville want a quarterback that honestly was not that good as a player when here. and moved on to Pittsburg where he was worse....sure he became a coach....all he had to do was watch all the mistakes he made, and teach whoever to not play like hime!...What about Mark Brunnell??...at least he won a few games?!!

Jags have to many coordinates who failed. Go with Pederson
Leftwich will be a good coach. Jags do not need to experiment again.

    Dear Mr. Khan,
Who is the motivator and chief. Coaches set the players up for success. Players play the game. You have to get 100% out of every player in the National Football League or the NFL stands for "not for long". Leftwich is another bad move for the Jags right now. He was set up with a good team to work with, he didn't build it. Quarterback development isn't their only problem. Fixing the yard apes on both sides of the line will bring better results. Time is a major factor to success. Defense getting to the ball and an offence giving the QB/receivers time to complete their routes would be a major improvement. You need fighters in the trenches. Win the day. Teams have coaches at every position making good money, expect more from your staff. The Head coach should be the one that can bring you the better staff, the rest is up to the players.

Mickey Mouse would make a fine coach. After all, it is a Mickey Mouse Operations that has been running over there for over 2 yrs now.

Jack Del Rio would be my FIRST choice for Head Coach.

Byron is a good fit he knows Jacksonville he has played here he has been a player he knows what a player can go through out on the field. He is a quarter back who can lead Trevor Lawrence, better than a quarter back he is young and knows the minds of young guys that need someone to show them how to win not be daddy or a dictator to bully them but mentor a lister a leaner .
