Can’t stand Maria Sophia and her father. I wish this issue would just resolve always funny except for when those two are on screen. LD does carry to some extent but why create such unlikeable characters? Don’t know if I can tolerate another season of it.

Season 1-4 Phenomenal better than excellent, funniest material on air since Seinfeld. 1 & 4 A, 2 & 3 A+
Season 5 Lewis needs a Kidney for LD/Seinfeld Standards B
Season 6 Rise of Leon A-/B+
Season 7 Reunion A
Season 8 NYC ironically only NYC episode I found funny was Buckner/Mr Softee. The LA episodes gold A-
Season 9- D very silly premise tons of identical material from previous seasons.
Season 10 I’m transported back to seasons 2 and 3 A+
Season 11- two LD standard funny. The rest were not worthy of airing. Either predictable not funny basis. The Fence and Blackmail premise was ridiculous and not funny. Nor do I care about a Santa Monica ordinance…Simply not funny. That normally had me at a C-/D till the finale… which was OK and then blown up by the insensitive disgusting horrible attempt at humor with the shoe snatching. I’m surprised there’s no uproar.

So damn painful to watch Maria Sofia, which I guess is brilliant. A really rich Jew so cheap that he allows himself to be victim of extortion? Tracy Ulman treatment wreaks of mysogyny and ageism. LD remains a great physical comedian, despite his age.
