Absolutely stunning. I loved every second of it. I guess I’m the “target demographic” for halftime shows now #oldbutnotaboomer

Gotta be honest I was pretty disappointed. It was like when your old uncles come out and try to do a rap. They sounded fine but there was no edginess to any of it. It was like the elevator music version of them. I thought a lot of their vocals were weak, perhaps it was the sound system. I also thought the lighting was weird. It was like fluorescent office lighting. Combining that with their music felt like that moment you're at the club and it's last call, the lights come on but the last of the rap is still playing and you're standing there drunk under bright lights looking at the guy who 2 seconds ago had the looks but now just looks like his dad. And what was with the dancers? They were just weird. They lacked any hardness, you can put a prison uniform on them and stick them in front of a lowrider but that doesn't make them street. Idk it had the throwback nostalgia going for it but none of the hardness or street vibe of years ago. To bad because it had the potential to be great.

(My handle predicts my review). Although I like some old-school rap (like Grandmaster Flash & Run-DMC) and these stars were "Hip-Hop Classic," the sound mixing was terrible and the choreography cliched. The vocals on the rappers (except for Eminem) were too low to make out the breakneck-speed rhythm-challenged rhymes and Mary J. Blige was mixed so low it was obvious she was straining to be heard, to the point of nearly screaming. And the dancers dressed in prison garb were in very poor taste (and played into white racists' stereotypes of rappers as thugs).A party guest of mine utterly unfamiliar with urban music opined that that sequence was obviously choreographed by a racist or clueless white person--I had to explain that AFAIK there are no white hip-hop choreographers--at least not high-profile enough to land a Super Bowl gig.

    Very little diversity!

Worst ever. No talent just non-singers. The lady who sang the National Anthem would have put on a better show.

An F grade from me! I guess I’m just too old for this BS. Couldn’t understand 90% of the words and every song sounded the same except for Mary Blige.
The NFL needs to have performances that appeal to a MUCH larger audience, and not just the teens and twenty-somethings that appreciate that crap.
    Sorry, but that’s my opinion.

Best half time show in a long time. Kendrick Lamar and the OG's was on point! 12 minutes of pure entertainment!

Amazing, Legendary even. The O Gs had it goin on and took the newbies to school today.
Dre, The daddy of it all, came back to rule the roost. Mary J, the QUEEN, showing these youngsters how a lady rules the kingdom. Snoop Dogg, always a pleasure. 50 Cent, was ok.
Eminem, got it done for Dre.
    Amazing talent today
