Omg! How can you NOT fall in love with Antony Bridgerton! He was BRILLIANT!!! INTENSE, PASSIONATE, he was EVERYTHING! Hands down Bridgerton 2 was better than 1 and if I'm honest without Theo Sanditon 2 was quite boring. NO CONTEST! That's my 2 cents for what it's worth.

Bridgerton Season 2 >>>>> All Others.

The slow burn, yearning, longing, the dancing, the chemistry between the lead actors..best period drama I've seen in years.

I enjoyed both of the season one series of these two equally the same. I honestly cannot say that about season 2. Bridgerton was very uplifting and like season one, it leaves you feeling happy that you viewed it. I cannot say that about season 2 of Sanditon. While some new Sanditon characters got to see the joyful ending that they deserved. They started the season very dark by killing off the reason I returned to watch. The resolution of how the writers would fix Charlotte's and Sidney's undying love for each other in season 2. How Eliza Campion would get her pay back for trying to come between the lovers. Well evidently, Eliza got the better of Charlotte in the very first episode. That was heart stopping television. It literally turned my stomach. My heart continued to break as Charlotte showed that she had become quite flighty and never really had much love for Sidney Parker at all. Over six episodes, she jumps from, not just two suiters, but three like she has very little (Jane Austen type) self-respect at all. I could never see Jane Austen writing such a story. And from what I read PBS approved this story knowing they they were going to make her a "more mature" version of Charlotte Heywood (Rose Williams). It was crushing to see how far she would go after viewing her as a woman of such high morals and standards in season 1. That Charlotte is no more. On the other hand, I was very happy to watch the other season 1 characters develop into better people. Aside from Tom Parker (Kris Marshall) and Edward Denham (Jack Fox). I'm pass the Lockhart/Georgiana story. Happy that they ended it on some sort of a sunny note for Georgiana (Crystal Clark). I would not miss any of the three new male characters. I will be happy to move on to better stories in season 3. Hopefully Charlotte will return to her "better self" like Sidney Parker did in season 1. She certainly was nothing like we admired and cheered for the first time around. I hope that Georgiana finds her Otis in the end. But Charlotte needs a lot of work. You don't make out passionately with your boss. No matter what sad story he gives you. Badly done Charlotte. She did seem to redeem herself a little toward the end when she set him straight about his previous actions, not only as an employer, but also as a man not worthy of the season 1 Charlotte. PBS teases that he comes back. I'm sorry that they chose to bring back such a loathsome man and that plot for her. But its television. I understand. It will be hard to watch if she gives in and backs down after such a powerful statement before she moved on to man number 3.

I really enjoyed sandition but it was much to short. I was really disappointed with that. I enjoyed bridgeton but found the story a little blah. It would have been nice to develop a little more courting around Anthony and his brides

Just jumping over that and the wedding made the story line a little less interesting than the first season.

I was a HUGE Sanditon fan and not a Bridgerton fan at all, BUT- Season 2 of Sanditon was so poorly written. I agree with Matt Roush's review that S2 is a mere shadow of Sanditon season 1. Bridgerton season 2 is the opposite! I hated season 1, but season 2 showed incredible improvement!

I do not like the new love interest for Sidney no chemistry at all. There has to be a better love interest and storyline coming in season three
