I told my husband, that if they didn’t vote Maryanne off at 5 remaining players, she would win, because of her meltdown earlier in the season, about minority players not winning. Jeff P didn’t even have the last tribal about “outwin, outplay, outlast”, because neither of the remaining minority players, could claim anything under those parameters, other than “outlast”. This was reminiscent of the last Big Brother season, where a minority won, because the minority players came together and intentionally voted off all the white players - just because they were white. If BB ends up the same this summer, we are done with CBS reality comps.

I done watching a show that someone who really doesn't deserve to win actually wins. I have watched survivor from the beginning and the last two season both people didn't deserve to win. Done with survivor

A total waste of time and absolutely predictable. I have never missed the show since the first episode and days when challenges were that. Times and people change, but did Maryanne even win a single challenge?
Rewards for perseverance, grueling challenges, outwitting and outsmarting seem to have gotten lost in puzzles, hidden tree trunks, numerous notes scrawled on tree bark, fake alliances…if you can’t swim, climb, carry water, fish or help with a primitive shelter…never fear, you probably still have a shot. The show has evolved in so many different ways, it’s hard to figure out who is what, lay on the beach, eat all the rice, etc.

I can’t believe I heard discussion about not voting someone out because of color. Ive never heard a white, brown, or yellow person say this before. Also, Maryann winning ? What is going on ? My favorite show is starting to suck.

I don't know why Survivor players respect Woke more than Play nowadays and act like the game is something more than a game, but it is terrible. The game has always been designed to be about Outwit, Outplay, and Outlast. Maryanne claims to Outwit with plays that others told her to do, she has a secret idol with eight people and can't ever make an Outplay, and never wins immunity to prove she can Outlast. It baffles me that jury members who claim to respect the game of Survivor can shame it by voting this way, or that the editors of Survivor can ruin the show by hiding away important details if there were any for Maryanne (less likely, but they did it for Erika). After season 41, my dad and I said we were done because this has been going on for too long and we are sick of it, but we quuckly caved and ended up watching this season. I don't think the same will happen for Survivor 43.
