This was an excellent series, however, it kept me wondering...what happened to the young man that asked Malcolm for Corrines hand in marriage? Did Malcolm kill him! Outside of that I loved it and am hungry for more..please add more episodes!!!

I do love Flowers in the Attic: Origins. V.C. Andrews should have given Corrine and Christopher at least an extra 15 years of happiness. Let Christopher Dollaganger and Corrine raise their children. Give him some to see their grow up as teenagers. ????

I wish Christopher hadn't died in the car accident. I wish it was a mistaken identity. Then Christopher walked right into the house which shocks and surprised her. I know the tv series are adaptations of the novels, but., V.C. Andrews has all of endings tragic.????????

I really liked the series. I’ve seen all the all the other vc andrews movies and always had questions about the beginning. I thought Malcom was played terrifically. His need for power and control were seen in all of his performances. I didn’t like Olivia’s need for god after Amos tried to rape her bc I felt she would had seen him as the one pushing the lord on her the way he tried to push himself on her and would had been done with god bc she was never into religion much anyways. I think the screen didn’t belong in the movie.
The limited series felt a little rushed to me as I wanted to spend more time with the characters and explore them more. What exactly happened with Malcom and his mom? We could have seen that in flashbacks. So many other things could had been explored and dug deeper into these peoples lives. I think we all knew it was gonna end up with the kids in the attic but Olivia’s hostility towards them with her religion felt very pushed and made me question why even though I knew why. I would like to see another series explore outside the attic with the same characters.

I will say some things like Amos don't fully add up but maybe they can come together.
And I do hope they'll do a limited series on Corrine since they switched to her POV at the end.

Was very disappointed in the ending .Hope there will be another series to pick up where it left off.

Great series. I liked this version it was dark. I'm going to watch the original again, and hope there be another series soon. Paula...Clermont Florida

I loved all the episodes but was disappointed with the ending. It left us hanging and wanting more. Even though I've seen all the shows including the original Flowers in the Attic I enjoyed the actors in this version and would love to see a newer Flowers in the Attic.

I loved the show, my husband and I were riveted to the t.v. Just very disappointed by the ending; why the cruelty to the children and Corrine going along with it. Was Malcolm writing a diary? Does she see her father? Olivia becomes a fanatical shrew, sad.. Need more, with same actors. They were all truly fabulous in their portrayals.

The finale was good, but I don’t think Corrine and Christopher ever knew that they were brother and sister. I really didn’t think the story line with Joel was good at all ruined the series! I bought the Flowers in the attic and Ruby bit I will not buy this series because of how Joel is gay. The books never even hinted at that.

I absolutely love the series I read the book long ago and I'm currently in the V.C. Andrews book club with my friend so now I'm onto petals in the wind etc..

Oh my gosh. It really helped to "see" the long, ago background of all the characters and the twisted family. I read the Flowers in the Attic series when it first came out. Sadly & creepily riveting. I hope there's a follow up. I've watched the others but this "Olivia" was so likable as a young strong minded woman in a man's world. And to see her "change" was sad. Bad cousin John Amos. and of course evil husband Malcolm. Great series!

Absolutely LOVED this series. I want to see more and you just have to keep the SAME actors to keep us connected to the ever unfolding saga that is their lives. Excellant choice of people who were chosen to portray each character. It wouldn't be the same with different faces.

As a fan of all the books in the VC Andrews series, I would recommend all those commenting that they didn't like the ending or asking what happens next or why is Olivia mean to her grandchildren or does she poison them......go read the Flowers in the Attic series!!! It's all in the books!!!! This series was beautifully done!!! I loved seeing how Olivia came to be how she was! I would love this series to continue with this cast, showing more of the behind the scenes if the goings on outside the attic as we as inside. Please keep going!!

I was really disappointed with the way it ended Olivia was mean to her grandchildren n then she locked them n the attic like they were criminals r something the mother act liked it was ok l wouldn't put my kids though that she wouldn't let her miserable mom talk to my kids like that all n all it was a good movie

This was by far the best adaptation. However I found it ridiculous that John Amos tried to rape Olivia. Never mind that she killed him! He was Corrine's Butler in if there be thorns! He played such a huge part in brainwashing bart Cathy's son. By killing him off in such a ridiculous way lifetime just messed up the whole story.. probably just as bad as the 1987 movie that hung Corrine by her neck at her wedding to bart Winslow.. so stupid.

    Need more

  • Z - 2 years ago

Very disappointed with the ending. Are the children getting poisoned. Did Corinne see Malcolm? Need to do more episodes to show what happens next.

  • Patricia A. Abrams - 2 years ago

So what happens to the children? Sure left a huge cliff hanger, I do hope there is more to come.

  • Diane - 2 years ago

Did not like the so called ending. Thought sure there was another episode coming. So disappointed.
