Adam has the strongest top 3 but Josh’s late round picks steal it for him.

I should have taken Adam just for the Locke pick, but oh well not enough to save the vote. Better luck next season

Cannot believe Adam is getting killed in this poll: he has Ex Machine, Moonlight, Under the Skin, First Cow, AND Uncut Gems! Not to mention his list contains, in my opinion, a wider breadth of titles -- Josh's has four titles from the last two years, whereas Adam's list stretches over a broader history. I wonder if recency bias plays a part in the huge margin of victory. I love Marcel, After Yang, and Everything Everywhere as much as the next guy, but I'll take the ones that have sat with me longer and have had more time to establish themselves as modern classics.
Josh has this one in the bag. Just absolute heavy hitters on his list.

Great episode, lots of fun adding some competition to a top five(ish) list.
If “other” were an option, I’d have to choose it, it’s tough to vote for a draft list that leaves 20th Century Women (and C’mon C’mon!) on the table.
Honestly, I would gladly attend either of these film festivals. Lady Bird is my personal favorite, but Moonlight isn’t far behind, so it’s actually The Florida Project that tipped the scale to Josh’s list for me.
My God, is it possible to name three movies from the last decade with more heart?! Thanks for putting a spotlight on just how incredible and important A24 is.

I voted for Josh's Team because I will pick any team with Jordan and Pippen, by which I mean "Lady Bird" and "First Reformed." Then Josh went and drafted Rodman ("The Witch"), which just guaranteed a few more championships. I like the draft format, a nice departure from Top Five lists.

It's simple: Fewer blind spots for me on Adam's list.

This is a tough call. While Josh truly dominated the second half of the draft, my vote goes to Adam for selecting Ex Machina and Moonlight with his first two picks. These are my favorite two A24 films and Adam got them both. Well-done, both of you. I look forward to revisiting some of these films and catching up on your selections that I haven't seen.

As you both observed, what this draft shows is how many really good A24 movies have been released, and you easily could have added a guest host with a third list and not seen a great drop in quality. But I do think Josh wins the draft handily. Rather than trying to parse tiny margins to decide between, say, an Ex Machina and a Lady Bird, I decided to focus on those draft positions where I felt either Adam or Josh had picked a clearly better movie. I give Adam the honours for #2 & #6, whereas Josh takes #3, #5, #7, #8 and #10; the others are pick'ems. Part of me wants to give the prize to Adam for his appreciation of Locke, which is my favourite Tom Hardy performance, right down to the Welsh accent [RIP Anthony Hopkins]. But, like Josh's draft, The Lobster is nevertheless the better pick. Sorry Adam, picking second is tough. Maybe, like Peter Falk in The In-Laws, you would survived had you decided to serpentine.
