The live audience is a HUGE mistake. Whoever came up with this idea ... just admit it's a really bad idea and move on. If you do not, the public will continue to punish you and your reputation will suffer further damage. It was horrific and I really hate to say it but Barbara's dress was ...... weird.
Also, we do not care about the back story of the contestants unless they get a deal. If you want to make your show more interesting.... ask the audience to rate the judges and replace the one who gets the fewest votes. That would be an excellent place to start. I'm guessing it's Barbara.

Absolutely horrific. The sharks acted like 5 year Olds. The original show is much more interesting, with great opportunity to learn. If this is their new format, we will never watch again. They made fools out of themselves.

It was terrible! Everyone talking over each other. It was not watchable and I won’t watch another Live show. Also, it was very odd that everyone got a deal with the sharks.?
Go back to the normal show or I’m done.

The live audience was an awful idea. Totally unnatural behavior by sharks and presenters, all due to playing to audience reactions and interruptions. The audience interactions completely affected the former intimacy of the program. Their chanting “take the deal” to the contestants was like an adult food fight….ruined the show completely for me . I will never watch it again in this format.

Please never again! We love Shark Tank, but hated this format. My husband and I would not watch another live show. Too chaotic, the sharks were unnaturally pumped up and yelling over each other (more than usual) and who cares what the audience thinks about a product? Please stick with what has worked all these seasons. You have a great show and you don’t need gimmicks!

What a ridiculous cage fight! I turned it off after the second pitch without even seeing if they got an offer.If the show stays with this format I won't watch again.what was a beacon for serious developers showing the smart side if investing burned into a free for all. The audience was a screaming side show.

I can’t believe the sharks acted like morons. I don’t think I will ever be able to look at them again with respect. Even Barbara who usually dresses so nicely look like a buffoon. I think you bomb the show on purpose the more I read about all the negative reviews Lord knows I shut it off halfway through I couldn’t take it. It was just a circus the audience was so phony. I was embarrassed for everybody and the poor entrepreneurs were treated very poorly by your bad behavior. If the format stays I’ll never watch it again.

Had to force myself to watch the entire hour. I kept thinking this has got to be a cruel joke of some sort. After all, who the H would take one of the few remaining good shows on TV and turn it into this gong show. The cast, who I once respected for their achievements and wisdom, have allowed themselves to be turned into low budget wannabe actors/actresses all fighting for the most camera time and cheers from the live audience. I seriously thought I was watching a rerun of the movie “Running Man” with Arnold S. Oh perhaps you could argue that Kevin O. gave a better performance than Annie but that is by no means a compliment. Guess you really can’t have enough money if your willing to sell your pride and self respect for, well I honestly don’t know what would make the cast stoop this this level.
