A conservation property tax levy lid lift is on the November general election ballot, and aims to use tax money to protect open spaces and farmland. Thoughts?
We need to protect land from overdevelopment and climate change. I will approve this levy lid lift.
Enough with the taxes! It doesn't matter the median property tax bill will rise only about $23 — I'm tired of this.
I think land conservation is important, but I think there's a more equitable way to fund conservation than through a property tax.
I don't really see the need to protect open spaces; there are better ways to use taxpayer dollars.
Since we all use open spaces one way or another, I think the tax rate should be more than 6.25 cents.
This is not an issue I care about.
