No doubt that even at an old age the gunslinger Ben Rothlesburger would be much better than the rookie. Love Pickett though. Good things will come with time with #8. I blame the offensive coordinator in this matter.
Ben's time was up, and it's not easy to say that, but father time eventually gets us all. The offense wasn't too much better before he retired. At least he knew when to say when...it's sad to watch a ball player trying to hang on way past his playing time, just look at Brady. Is it pride that keeps him on the field, because clearly, it's time for him to hang it up as well. I'm no Brady fan, not by a long shot, but the point is, you need to know when its time to move on
I believe it's not just an inexperienced QB Picket, but the talent that surrounds him and the horrible coaching that's being done. Smith-Schuster said it best, he's learned more about offence in a few months with KC then his entire time with Pittsburgh, WOW! As far as Ben, his time was up.
