I was a UT student in the late 70’s, ‘90 SMU grad, grad school, but the SMU Mustang far better than a cow as a symbol to represent vitality, and the SMU colors much better than burnt orange. With UT Austin having an UG population 5 times larger than SMU, ponies holding its own

! have been a Texas Longhorn fan ever since1957. I love the Texas uniform, from the tip of their shoes to the Longhorn emblem on their helmets. It does not matter what the final score is because they are winners at heart. I am a diehard Texas fan and that means something.
