Biden is about to sign the Respect for Marriage Act, requiring all states to recognize same-sex marriages. Thoughts?
It's about time same-sex marriage rights were signed into law, and didn't just rely on a court ruling.
I don't see the need for the legislation — the Obergefell ruling isn't going to be reversed.
It doesn't matter what the law says — same-sex marriage remains against God's law.
I don't think the Act goes far enough — all states should be required to issue marriage licenses, not just recognize ones from other states.
I think the Act is too broad — there needed to be more religious-freedom protections.
This is not an issue I care about.
