This is another liberal idea that was not thought through. The end result will be more damaging to the environment than the plastic bags. It takes about ten times the energy and water to make the "reusable" bags. Walmart has no mechanism in place for returning surplus bags from deliveries. Just like the lies of E/V's and "green" energy, this is nothing more than another idiotic idea pushed by people who don't care about anything but increasing their own power and money. This is NOT an attempt to help the environment.

I am tired of hearing what California does. Look at the mess they are in fiscally. Having to bring your own bags is not a problem but the problem is all of the out of state folks who move in to get away from what has happened in thier previous state and then they bring their baggage here. This state is too crowded. This country is too crowded

It’s about time. Calif‘s been doing her for many years. Now if Colorado will get on the bandwagon to recycle bottles and cans. That would eliminate a lot of that plastic in the dumps. Maybe Colorado can learn a little something from Calif about the recycle process on everything.

Polis and these demoncrats are out of control and need to be pulled out of their kindergarten classes and have their butts spanked like the children they are and act like

This is nothing more than a regressive tax that was allowed because of a perceived problem. Great way to add some dollars to local coffers without the risk of it getting shot down in a tabor referendum.

Jan 1, 2023, I went to the store and had to buy 4 bags. The 1st day it didn't click I pulled into Safeway I started to see people coming out of the store with items in their hands. I could see what everyone was buying, I thought they just had a mob run and were stealing groceries. The people were walking quite fast. As I approached, I head a lady say you have to buy bags we are not going to let Polis take our money. every time I pulled up to a store I was searching in my car and trunk for a bag. I ordered a box of thank you bags on Amazon I will put them in my car and my problem will be solved.

The majority of the bags in grocery stores cannot be used more than once for anything as they are worthless to begin with, but they can be recycled. Water bottles are the bigger issue. I wouldn't waste my $.10 on one of those bags but will try to remember to bring my own into the store. Just another way for the state to gather a few extra shekels.

Why don't we get 10 cent credit when we bring our own bags ???

Expect longer lines at the check-out ! Dumbest law ever ! Ban plastic water bottles-bigger litter problem. Put a 10 cent plastic bag over our politicians' heads and stuff them in recently vacated chicken cages !
