How pivotal should community input be, in general, to county decision making?
Very — organized and vocal opposition among a significant portion of the population should lead to major changes or nixing a proposal altogether
Somewhat — significant opposition to something should result in some level of compromise between those who support and oppose a plan
Minimal — elected officials should primarily make their own best judgments and consider the desires of the electorate as a whole, making relatively minor adjustments, if any, in response to vocal opposition
