ChatGPT is making waves, as it is a sophisticated AI chatbot that can also write essays, compose music, and take tests. What are your thoughts on the tech?
I think this is just a fad that will disappear or become obsolete in a few years.
This sort of technology will become ubiquitous once its perfected, and it'll have a major effect on many aspects of society, employment, education, and the economy.
The tech is neat, but I am super worried about how it can write well and perform simple tasks. What sort of jobs will go the way of the dinosaur, to be replaced by AI?
I think this sort of tech is great — why have people do these sorts of tasks when a cheaper AI can do them just as well? It'll save society a lot of money in the long run.
Should we really be playing around with real AI? Really? This is a Pandora's Box situation, mark my words.
I'm anxious about how this will affect education, when an AI can write students' essays and take their tests for them. The system will have to drastically change.
This is not an issue I care about.
